Indonesia is a wood producing with large number of forest and various type of trees in less than 4000 species of trees in Indonesia’s forest. The activity of wood identification is effort to get information about kind of wood. The identification type of wood that have similar characteristics, it is difficult to identify the right type of wood. The characteristic can be allotted to two group, general characteristic and anatomy characteristic. General characteristics can be seen directly by the senses without tools, while anatomy characteristics can be seen with tools such as loupe or microscope. Convolutional Neural Network with mobilenet architecture is a Deep Learning method that can be use identify and classifying an object. In this study, using 1000 images for 10 types of wood in each type. The images split into 90 images training dataset dan 10 images for validation datasets captured by mobilephone. Based on the result of research, the obtained level of accuracy 98% training, 93,3% testing, 28% recall, and 93% for precission. That result can be concluded that performance from this model in this research is optimal to classification the kind of wood.
Galingan, Ds. Boreng, Kec./Kab. Lumajang, Jawa Timur. Kata kunci: Transfer Knowledge, Robot Line Follower Analog, Anak-anak Desa ABSTRACTThis community service program aims to transfer knowledge to village children who study in elementary/junior high schools on robotics technology. It was specifically targeted for Dsn. Galingan, Ds. Boreng, Kec./Kab. Lumajang, East Java. This program provided fundamental knowledge about a simple analog Line Follower robot and demonstrated how it works. This program equips children in the Galingan villages with new perspectives in the field of Robotics. They were selected as pilot projects for a similar program with broader targets in the next few years; it was held for one-day activity (July 31, 2022). Implementation methods include planning, core, and evaluation. The children enthusiastically participated in the activity and gained insight. It is hoped that one day it will become a model village for children's hobbies in robotics. Keywords: Transfer Knowledge, Line Follower Analog Robot, Village children
The development of the business world, especially banking is increasingly complex with a lot of competition. This can trigger the emergence of asset abuse and other fraud. This condition requires managers in the company to always carry out supervision in order to anticipate losses experienced by the company by doing various ways that can prevent them. This study aims to analyze the role of the whistleblowing system and internal audit on the fraud prevention of PT. Bank Mandiri Bandung branch. The factors tested in this study are the whistleblowing system and internal audit as independent variables, while fraud prevention is the dependent variable. The research design used in this study is explanatory. The population in this study were 50 employees of PT. Bank Mandiri Bandung branch. The sampling technique used in this study is to use a saturated sample because the population size is known with certainty. While the analytical method used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis at a significance level of 5%. The program used in analyzing and using the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) Ver. 23. The results of hypothesis testing indicate that the whistleblowing system and internal audit can prevent fraud.
An ESP-Mesh-based smart home system was developed in the previous research using the ESP8266 feature with 3 different nodes, such as mechanical (door lock), electrical (fan, generic power switch, or power plug), and temperature & humidity sensors. This research focused more on the addition of nodes into the IoT-based smart home infrastructure. The purpose is to design, implement, and test hardware and software intended to be incorporated into the ESP8266-based system for normal functionality. These nodes include 1) RGB lamp that is controlled by colour lightning, 2) horizontal and 3) vertical curtain 4) PIR sensor for detecting the presence of humans (suspicious people) around the house, 5) liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) sensor for examining leakage of gas cylinders within the house, 6) smoke sensor for fire detection, and 7) an electric fan using the soft-control (PWM-based) method. The fan is observed to increase in functionality from the previous research, which is regulated by a switch only (hard-control). Meanwhile, the new android application monitors the seven nodes defined without limitations. The method used by the application includes the determination of system specifications, hardware and software design (ESP8266 and android programming), implementation, and verification. The system evaluation procedure used in the previous research comprised 1) RSSI measurement, 2) power consumption, 3) Mesh connection, 4) functionality test of UPISmartHome Apps V.2.0, and 5) the overall system (hardware & software integration). The test results by observing the RSSI parameters reveal that all nodes can be managed (control & monitor) remotely via the android application with an average distance of about 70 meters without an internet connection. Furthermore, all nodes are successfully connected to the ESP-Mesh network with effective self-routing capabilities between 40 – 50 meters because the distance between nodes above 70m cannot do self-configuration; this is the ability of ESP8266. The power consumed by each node both in idle and active conditions is not more than 2 Watts.
Research aims: This article aims to demonstrate that corporate sustainability will be more balanced and sustainable if it is based on the philosophy of "mutual assistance (gotong royong) culture." (Mutual assistance synergizes to maintain and improve).Design/Methodology/Approach: The research method used was a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, i.e., a constructivist or naturalistic approach.Research findings: This study disclosed that corporate sustainability would continue to be maintained with the awareness of every company member to work together to sustain, maintain, and improve performance. The application of the corporate sustainability concept must also be based on the spirit of building, maintaining, and improving all aspects of business activities (without giving up). In addition, the company's synergy with the mutual assistance culture will bring the company's safety to a continuous and lasting one.Theoretical contribution/Originality: Implementing corporate sustainability based on mutual assistance culture will increase the company’s existence and sustainability. In this case, managers can focus on corporate sustainability while still paying attention to the mutual assistance culture of all organization/company members.Practitioner/Policy implication: The mutual assistance culture can be used as a guide/companion for companies in implementing the business sustainability concept.Research limitation/Implication: This article offers the Javanese philosophy concept of mutual assistance culture in maintaining business sustainability.
