There are currently many regions at international level that have difficulty accessing basic health and hygiene services, due to their location in geographically dispersed areas, where the main access problems are attributed to places at risk of flooding, mountainous territories, remote rural areas and areas of Low energy resources Therefore, the objective of this research is to illustrate the design of a prototype of a medical suitcase using renewable photovoltaic energy and supported by an information system to provide basic primary health care services to communities in the department of Sucre in Colombia. The research is of descriptive scope and technological development and is framed in three phases: in the initial phase the survey and analysis of the requirements of users, physical, technical, electrical, electronic and bibliographic for the construction of the prototype was carried out, in the second phase, the prototype design was executed by block diagram and, in the final phase, functionality tests were applied to the prototype. As a final result, a plastic suitcase with self-sustaining degree of protection IP 67 with integrated photovoltaic energy with different digital and conventional medical devices was obtained, on the other hand a web platform that allows the registration and control of the information of the different patients taken care of, it is concluded that the prototype is functional allowing to manage the information of the patients, in addition to supporting with clean energy the loads of the different digital devices that make up the suitcase.
