In network management and monitoring systems, or Network Management Stations (NMS), the Simple Network monitoring Protocol (SNMP) is normally used, with which it is possible to obtain information on the behavior, the values of the variables, and the status of the network architecture. network. However, for large corporate networks, the protocol can present latency in data collection and processing, thus making real-time monitoring difficult. This article proposes a multi-agent system based on layers, with three types of agents. This includes the collector agent, which uses a Management Information Base (MIB) value to collect information from the network equipment, an input table of information from the network devices for the consolidator agent to process the collected data and leave it in a consumable format, and its subsequent representation by the application agent as a web service, in this case, as a heat map.

El primer paso hacia la Social-inspiración en un sistema distribuido que opere sobre una red Ad Hoc, es implementar la característica de racionalidad en nodos que deseen unirse al sistema, de manera que puedan decidir sobre ingresar o no, teniendo en cuenta los recursos que éste les ofrece. En este artículo se expone las diferentes etapas del proceso para el ingreso del nodo a la red, los diferentes métodos de toma de decisiones en cada etapa y la justificación de la elección de cada uno de ellos como los que más se ajustan dado los parámetros que se manejan en este tipo de redes y el paradigma de Social-inspiración que se está aplicando.
This article presents the state of the art derived from a research project where the construction of a software module related with the capability of the wireless nodes to decide whether or not to enter an ad hoc network, is proposed. If the decision is to enter, the amount of resources needed to provide the net is assessed by analyzing data provided for the network about the resources available and the number of nodes and internal parameters (CPU, hard disk, and processor, among others) through a mathematical model. The module developed should interact with an interpreter at a lower level and with a higher level entity, a distributed system. The research is supported by the computational system of the TLÖN group of the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, where its main purpose is to study the application of a social-inspired paradigm in ad hoc networks.
