ABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan motivasi, pengetahuan dan ketrampilan/keahlian dasar dalam penguasaan teknologi komputer dan informasi guna meningkatkan skill dan kompetensi perangkat desa dalam dunia kerja melayani masyarakat. Khalayak sasaran pengabdian adalah golongan usia produktif, yaitu para perangkat desa di Desa Tuban Kecamaatan Gondangrejo Kabupaten Karanganyar Jawa Tengah. Kegiatan pengabdian yang berbentuk pelatihan ini dilakukan dengan metode ceramah, demonstrasi, latihan, dan tanya-jawab. Metode ceramah digunakan untuk mengaktivasi semangat guna meningkatkan motivasi belajar para perangkat sekaligus digunakan untuk menjelaskan konsep teknologi komputer. Metode demonstrasi dipakai untuk menunjukkan suatu proses kerja dan pembelajaran, yaitu tahap-tahap pengoperasian komputer termasuk diantaranya cara pengoperasian Windows dan Microsoft Office. Sementara itu, metode latihan digunakan untuk mempraktekkan cara merakit mrngoperasikan beberapa aplikasi yang akan dipelajari. Sedangkan metode tanya-jawab memberikan kesempatan pada para peserta untuk berkonsultasi dalam mengatasi kendala-kendala yang muncul selama instalasi proses pelatihan dan pembelajaran program-program komputer.Berdasarkan kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan maka dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa hampir seluruh peserta pelatihan sangat antusias dalam mengikuti pelatihan komputer yang diadakan dengan diindikasikan para perangkat desa setelah pelatihan berakhir mampu memahami dan mempraktekan dengan baik seluruh materi yang disampaikan selama kegiatan pengabdian. Sebuah kendala yang muncul adalah keterbatasan alat peraga dan praktek yaitu perangkat komputer yang terbatas sehigga mengakibatkan pelaksanaan kegiatan belum bisa berjalan maksimal.
This article aims at arguing for the importance of the testing step when designing an educational application by taking a case study from the development of adaptive learning media. The media contains a set of in-struments that are specifically built to empower students' critical thinking skills. Three aspects that are con-sidered in testing this educational application are application validity at each stage of system development, measurement of the final system feasibility test for user needs, and system implementation by running learning media on the test sample. Implementation of testing on application products is carried out accord-ing to system requirements and models. The existence of the characteristics of adaptive media and the diver-sity of menus in the application implies the importance of doing a lot of improvisation when carrying out tests, such as determining the right test cases, choosing the appropriate test model and method, determining a suitable test environment, and considering several other aspects aimed at optimizing test results. obtained in order to ensure the quality of learning media products. This study analyzed the test data using Likert scale as an interpretation of the results of the validation assessment from the experts by referring to certain perceived standards of assessment. Meanwhile, the analysis of the data from the feasibility test results from a sample of 20 students using the system usability scale (SUS) instrument. The technique to test the effec-tiveness was using a pretest-posttest control group design with a sample of 98 students. Parametric/non-parametric data analysis was then applied to analyze the data on the results of testing the effectiveness or efficacy of adaptive media products in improving students' higher order thinking skills (HOTS). Based on the testing steps applied to the application of adaptive learning media, the results obtained that the product was considered feasible and effective in empowering students' HOTS. The study concludes that the educa-tional application testing that has been carried out is able to provide an objective and independent view of the application of adaptive learning media which will be useful in operational functions to understand the level of effectiveness in its implementation before being widely used in learning.
Sampah adalah material sisa yang berasal dari kegiatan sehari-hari manusia yang sudah tidak dapat digunakan. Pengelolaan sampah harus dilakukan dengan baik dan benar sehingga tidak menimbulkan dampak-dampak yang dapat merugikan lingkungan sekitar dan dapat merusak ekosistem alam. Tujuan pengamatan ini dilakukan yaitu untuk membiasakan siswa MI Muhammadiyah Cekel dalam pengelolaan sampah, untuk mempermudah dalam pengelompokan sampah saat dibawa ke TPA, dan untuk mengurangi sampah yang dihasilkan di MI Muhammadiyah Cekel. Metode pelaksanaan pada pengabdian ini yaitu: 1) metode ceramah, 2) metode demontrasi, 3) metode tanya jawab, dan 4) pendampingan. Hasil dari pengabdian ini yaitu: 1) Kegiatan sosialisasi, pendampingan, dan pengarahan pengelolaan sampah di MI Muhammadiyah Cekel mendapat respon positif dari peserta didik dan 2) Adanya keberlanjutan yang akan dilakukan sekolah untuk membiasakan mengarahkan peserta didik membuang sampah sesuai dengan jenis tempat sampah dan membiasakan peserta didik membawa piring dan gelas plastik untuk mengurangi produksi sampah plastik di sekolah sebagai pendidikan karakter untuk peserta didik agar mencintai lingkungan dan menerapkan pola hidup sehat.
Berpikir kritis penting dalam dunia pendidikan karena mendorong peserta didik untuk mendapatkan pemahaman informasi yang lebih kompleks. Kemampuan berpikir kritis yang tinggi akan mengantarkan peserta didik menemukan dan menyimpulkan sendiri pemahamannya, serta akan memfasilitasi kemudahan dalam dunia kerja. Penelitian ini betujuan untuk menguji sebuah konsep model hybrid learning dalam pemberdayaan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Hybrid learning mengekstrak keunggulan dari unsur gaya belajar (learning style), pembelajaran daring (online learning), dan open-ended learning. Metode penelitian menggunakan prosedur penelitian kuantitatif. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa model hybrid learning berpotensi mampu dalam pemberdayaan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik secara signifikan dibanding dengan model konvensional
This community service activity aims at providing motivation, knowledge, and skills/expertise in computer and information technology to improve the skills and competencies of village officials in serving the community. The participants are village officials in Saren Village, Kalijambe, Sragen, Central Java. This service activity includes several methods, namely lectures, demonstrations, exercises, and questions and answers. The lecture method activates the spirit to increase the learning motivation of the participants as well as to explain the concept of computer technology. The demonstration method demonstrates a work and learning process, namely the stages of operating a computer application. Meanwhile, the practice method practices how to assemble and run some of the applications learned. The question-and-answer provides for consulting the obstacles that arise during the training and learning process. Finally, the conclusion is all of the training participants were very enthusiastic about the computer application training activities which were held with indications that the participants (village officers) after the training ended were able to understand all the material presented and practice it well. One obstacle that arises during activity is limited computer equipment leads to the implementation of training activities not being able to run optimally.
