Masalah gender adalah masalah aktual saat ini. Dalam masyarakat modern abad ke-21, seakan telah kehilangan nilai-nilai luar biasa terutama yang menyangkut hak-hak perempuan. Dalam hal ini seringkali perempuan tidak mendapat perhatian sehingga banyak menjadi korban pada kasus di ruang publik. Padahal Islam sebagai agama yang rahmatan lil Alamin memposisikan perempuan di tempat yang mulia. Tidak ada dikotomi dan diskriminasi peran antara pria dan wanita. Al-Qur'an mengajarkan posisi orang beriman baik pria maupun wanita sama di hadapan Tuhan, oleh karena itu mereka harus mendapatkan status yang sama di mata Tuhan. Sementara perempuan kurang mendapatkan perhatian yang layak terhadap ancaman kebebasan. Hal tersebut terutama dalam mengembangkan dakwah. Kemudian muncul apa yang disebut ketidaksetaraan gender sebagai bukti bahwa masyarakat modern saat ini tidak memperhatikan hak-hak perempuan sebagai sebuah identitas sehingga dalam konteks ini muncul pertanyaan penting, adakah kebebasan bagi perempuan untuk menyebarkan dakwah? Faktanya, mengabaikan perempuan dan tidak melibatkan mereka dalam kegiatan dakwah berarti membuang setidaknya setengah dari potensi masyarakat. Ini harus menjadi evaluasi, inspirasi, dan motivasi bagi penafsir Al-Qur’an untuk merumuskan produk interpretasi yang memiliki perspektif tentang peran nyata perempuan. Metode yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah pendekatan interpretatif tematik-kontekstual, untuk mendapatkan gambaran yang lengkap dan komprehensif tentang makna yang relevan dan aktual untuk konteks kontemporer terkait dengan gender. Dengan demikian, temuan ini membangun kembali peran perempuan dalam Al-Qur’an dan hadits.
This paper examines religious education in two countries; Turkey and Indonesia with the aim of knowing the similarities and differences in religious education from the two countries. This research is field research using a comparative approach. Research data obtained from interviews, observation and documentation. Meanwhile, in analyzing the data used descriptive-comparative technique. This research found that religious education in Turkey and Indonesia have similarities, that is, both are implemented in private or non-government educational institutions. However, there are significant differences between the two countries, in Indonesia religious education can be held by any institution, both in private and public educational institutions and exists at any level from basic education to higher education, whereas in Turkey religious learning is only in private education, private sector and not found at the level of basic education to higher education except at the ushuluddin or divineyat faculties.
The Qur'an has the structure and rules of language that are part of its i'jaz (miracle). It has a deep meaning, even a secret in every syntactic structure. One of them is the mention of salat and zakat in many verses. The mention of these two services suggests that certain objectives are not merely literal interpretations. Therefore, in-depth studies are needed to look for reason and meaning contained therein. To achieve this goal, this research uses the semiotics method, which emphasizes its discussion on the sign system to look for the meaning that is in the marker. From searches conducted related to the theme of the discussion, 27 verses were found that contain the words salat and zakat together in one place. The verses are found in one concept, which is about faith in God. Nevertheless, the mention of salat and zakat in various verses has a different context. First, concerning the Children of Israel. Second, regarding the formation of faith through deeds. Third, the context related to jihad efforts. Fourth, signs of believers. Fifth, efforts to repent. And sixth, as an intermediary get mercy. This study also found that the mention of salat and zakat together and related to the element of faith indicated that salat and zakat were suggestions for connecting God, humans, and society in a circle. This shows that this study provides a reinforcing argument in the arguments of Toshihiko Izutsu.
