Previous studies found that using e-learning to support Problem Based Learning can increase students’ learning outcomes. The increase of students’ learning outcomes has not been yet examined according to gender difference which can indicate the suitability of a learning model used by male and female students to enhance their learning outcomes. This study aims to examine the differences in physics learning outcomes at a public senior high school in Depok according to gender difference after using Blended Problem Based Learning model. This is an ex de facto study. The target population of this study was students of a public senior high school in Depok and the sample was grade ten students at a public senior high school in Depok. Samples were taken by purposive sampling. Data were collected from students’ learning outcomes grouped by gender difference, then analyzed using a two-tail test with the t-test formula. The results showed that there are no significant difference between male students’ learning outcomes and female students’ learning outcomes after using the Blended Problem Based Learning model at a public senior high school in Depok.
Teaching is a diverse performance and requires a variety of knowledge and several skills including soft skills. But soft skills are more difficult to do and to teach. Therefore, the internship is an alternative way to practice these skills to physics students in teacher training and education faculty. Thus, this study aims to identify the contribution of internship value to students’ soft skills competencies. The study applied a descriptive survey method. A total of 36 students from a public university in Banda Aceh were selected using a purposive sampling method. Instruments used for data collection were multiple-choice test questions related to students’ soft skill competencies and apprenticeship data. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS through product-moment correlation test and correlation coefficient formula. The results showed that the contribution of apprenticeship value to students’ soft skills competencies is 0.48% with a correlation coefficient of 0.022 (very weak). Hence, it is suggested that the learning process should be emphasized in direct practice so that more competencies can be developed by students graduating from physics education department.
Penggunaan AC dianggap mampu menstabilkan suhu udara maupun kelembapan suatu area dengan sistem pendinginan. Namun, banyak masyarakat tidak menyadari bahwa penggunaan AC yang diperoleh melalui penggunaan bahan refrigerant atau biasa disebut Freon juga menjadi salah satu faktor terjadinya pemanasan global. Oleh karena itu, inovasi AC portable menjadi salah satu bentuk untuk mengurangi pemanasan global serta menghemat energi listrik. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimental dengan pengambilan data langsung terhadap alat uji. Pembuatan AC portable ini dilakukan pada tanggal 20 dan 21 Oktober 2018 di Laboratorium Fisika Jurusan Pendidikan Fisika Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Syiah Kuala Banda Aceh. Data dianalisis secara teoritis berdasarkan data eksperimen dengan menetukan kondisi pada setiap siklus percobaan. Hasil penelitian AC portable tanpa mengunakan bahan kimia yang mengandung chloro flouro carbon (CFC) atau yang di sebut dengan freon dapat menurunkan suhu ruangan ukuran 3x4 m2 dengan besar perbedaan suhu sebesar 2 0C.
