We fabricated single cells with an 8YSZ electrolyte, a Pt anode, a spin-coated Ce0.8Sm0.2O1.9 (SDC) cathode buffer layer and a LaNi0.6Fe0.4O3 (LNF) cathode infiltrated with mixed conductor of Pr6O11. The cathode performance was investigated by the ac impedance method at 800oC. The initial interface resistance of the Pr6O11 infiltrated cathode was reduced to about one seventeenth of that without the infiltration. The interface resistance increased slightly with 106 mA/cm2 current loading. It increased faster and constantly at 354 mA/cm2. The annealing temperature dependence of the crystallization and grain growth of the spin-coated Pr6O11 films was also investigated.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
