This paper continues the publication of newly obtained results from a continuing taxonomic investigation of the genus Aspidistra in mainland southeast Asia. It includes descriptions and illustrations of seven taxa discovered in China and Vietnam, A. deflexa Aver., Tillich & V.T. Pham, A. heterocarpa Aver., Tillich & V. T. Pham var. heterocarpa, A. heterocarpa Aver., Tillich & V. T. Pham var. echinata Aver., Tillich & T.A. Le, A. nigra Aver., Tillich & K. S. Nguyen, A. sessiliflora Aver. & Tillich, A. sinuata Aver. & Tillich and A. tonkinensis (Gagnep.) F. T. Wang & K. Y. Lang var. compacta Aver. & Tillich. Specific taxonomic status is proposed for A. vietnamensis (Aver. & Tillich) Aver & Tillich. described at first as a variety of A. elatior Blume. The name A. connata Tillich is accepted as a synonym of A. subrotata Y. Wan & C. C. Huang. One species, A. hainanensis W. Y. Chun & F. C. How is reported as new for the flora of Vietnam, and another one, A. semiaperta Aver. & Tillich as new for the flora of Laos. New or updated data on ecology, phenology, tentative relationships, distribution and conservation status are reported for all mentioned taxa.
In this manuscript, we consider the nonlinear beam equation with internal damping and source term. The global solutions are constructed by using the Faedo-Galerkin approximations, taking into account that the initial data is in appropriate set of stability created from the Nehari manifold. The asymptotic behavior is obtained by the Nakao method.Mathematics subject classification (2010): 35B40, 35G30, 35K30, 74K20, 74K10, 74Kxx, 93D15, 93D20.
In developing Education 4.0, educational institutions need to redesign their learning environments and operations. Connecting real-life challenges from the world of work to the learning processes of the future workforce is crucial in achieving relevant competencies. This article, in the context of the EMVITET Erasmus+ capacity building project, discusses how the Design Factory principles can support the development of innovation spaces for Education 4.0 in Vietnam. In this qualitative practice-based study, three universities and three vocational institutions in Vietnam describe how they have applied the main ideas of the Design Factory concept to their own context. The results show that Design Factory principles can be successfully applied in the Vietnamese higher education and they can help in creating added values for all of the stakeholders including students, teachers and work-life partners. Some challenges in development and respective solutions for them are also discussed.
This paper provides new data on 33 new or rare species of Hoya obtained in fieldwork mainly during 2012-2017 in eastern Indochina including Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam. These data include illustrated descriptions of three species new for science, as well as illustrated records of 24 species new for the floras of the studied countries. When these new data are included, the flora of eastern Indochina comprises at least 45 species. Among them eight species are recorded and documented for Cambodia, 21 sp. for Laos and 40 sp. for Vietnam; two new species are described in Vietnam (H. crassipetiolata and H. nutans) and one species is described from Laos (H. uniflora). Eighteen species were recorded newly for the flora of Vietnam (H.
