The objective is to study the preparation of TD0232-loaded microemulsion (TD0232-ME) and its quality evaluation. The formulation was investigated by pseudoternary phase diagram. The loading capacity and entrapment efficiency was obtained by ultraviolet spectrophotometric method. The appearance, morphology, size distribution, stability of TD0232-ME were determined. The TD0232-ME,with good stability, was a transparent solution with visible sky-blue opalescence. TD0232-ME in transmission electronic microscopy (TEM) consisted of small spherical drops with a mean size of 30 - 50 nm. The UV analysis showed the loading capacity and encapsulated efficiency of TD0232-ME were 0.1% and 100%, respectively. The solubility of TD0232 was significantly increased in microemulsion and the stability was satisfying.
Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) is a poorly water-soluble active ingredient with intrinsic chemical instability, but holds strongly antioxidative capacity. The CoQ10-NLC aqueous dispersion has been prepared, the antioxidative activity between CoQ10-NLC and CoQ10 cosmetic have been investigated, and several employed methods such as scavenging efficiency on DPPH radical and inhibition of superoxide anion and hydroxyl radical generation illustrated its potentially antioxidative activity. The test results displayed that CoQ10-NLC aqueous dispersion indicated higher antioxidative activity than commercially available CoQ10 cosmetic.
The objective is to study the stability of Nifeviroc-loaded microemulsions (Nifeviroc-MEs). The dilution stability of Nifeviroc-MEs with different loading capacity ( 0.1%, 0.2%, 0.3%) was tested by change of mean size, pH and appearance. The centrifugal stability was evaluated by comparing the mean size of Nifeviroc-MEs and dilutions before and after high-speed centrifugation for 30, 60, 120 min at 10000 rpm. The storage stability was evaluated by the change of appearance, the mean size, PDI and the retention rate of Nifeviroc in the ME. The pH, appearance, size analysis and retention rate results showed the Nifeviroc-MEs had good dilution, centrifugal stability and good storage stability without light.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
