The manufacturing of aluminum honeycomb panel are usually difficult. The abrasive waterjet method can offer a suitable solution. This paper presents the results of some experiments on waterjet cutting of circular holes into aluminum honeycomb panel, which can be further used for cutting holes in aluminum honeycomb panel . The main problem which occurs is the tapered shape of the hole, due to the mechanics of the process and the control of the kerf produced by the waterjet. The experiments considered several values of the main process parameters like the pump pressure and the feed rate which have a direct influence on the part machineability. After measuring the parts, there were analyzed the main dimensional parameters of precision to reveal the proper solution for obtaining the required quality of the process.
The aim of the work is to determine, through mathematical modeling using regression functions, the dependency expression between the surface roughness Ra at grinding with diamond wheels of aluminum oxide ceramic (Al2O3) for plain grinding with longitudinal advance, and the values of the grinding processing mode as Ra = f(Sl, t, Vd).
Abstract. Hip prostheses functionality is limited in time, inter alia, by mechanical damage to the femoral components (protrusion, limestone resorption femoral loosening), and by of accurate positioning of the piece femoral. To assess the importance of accurate positioning of the piece femoral hip arthroplasties we performed a tensometric study on experimental models on femurs dehydrated and lubricated, the prostheses were implanted cemented in varum, normal and valgus position. The specific model distortions were determined by applying tensometric stance on the external and internal cortical in maximal stress positions and request using static strength values similar to those that require bone during normal gait. Aim of this experiment is to determine the maximum load areas femur which has been implanted partial prostheses.

The cutting laser jet method can offer a suitable solution for manufacturing of aluminium honeycomb panel who are usually difficult to do. This paper presents the results of some experiments on laser jet cutting of circular holes into aluminium honeycomb panel, which can be further used for cutting holes in aluminium honeycomb panel. The main problem which occurs is the tapered shape of the hole, due to the mechanics of the process and the control of the kerf produced by the laser jet .The experiments considered several values of the main process parameters like power output, impulse frequency, fast feed rate on X and Y axes which have a direct influence on the part machinability. After measuring the parts, there were analysed the main dimensional parameters of precision to reveal the proper solution for obtaining the required quality of the process.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
