Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran koperatif tipe Cooperative Script dan Think Pair Share pada materi struktur tumbuhan di kelas XI MIA SMA Swasta Hang Tuah Belawan Tahun pembelajaran 2018/2019. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI MIA yang terdiri dari 4 kelas dengan jumlah siswa rata-rata 36 orang. Sampel pada penelitian diambil secara random sampling sebanyak 2 kelas yaitu kelas XI MIA 2 yang berjumlah 37 dan XI MIA 4 berjumlah 36 orang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diketahui bahwa hasil belajar siswa dari kelas Cooperative Script dan kelas Think Pair Share berdistribusi normal dan memiliki varians yang seragam (homogen), sementara berdasarkan perolehan hasil belajar siswa terlihat ada perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikan dengan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas Cooperative Script sebesar 75,13 sedangkan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas Think Pair Share sebesar 82,63. Adanya perbedaan hasil belajar siswa pada kedua kelas tersebut dibuktikan melalui pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji-t dengan taraf kepercayaan α = 0,05 harga thitung<ttabel (-3,4153<1,9837) Ha di terima di wilayah pihak kiri sekaligus menolak H0. Sehingga dapat dinyatakan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan model Cooperative Script dan Think Pair Share pada materi struktur tumbuhan di kelas XI MIA SMA Swasta Hang Tuah Belawan T.P 2018/2019.Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar, Cooperative Script, Think Pair Share, Struktur Tumbuhan.
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of student biology learning using mnemonic method on protista material in grade X SMA Budi Murni 3 Medan School Year 2017/2018. The population of this study were all students of grade X SMA Budi Murni 3 Medan which amounted to 67 students consisting of two classes namely X A and X B. Sampling in this study was done randomly (random sampling) that is class X A consisting of 32 students. This research is a pre-experiment research. Instruments used to collect data are objective tests in multiple choice that have been tested to try validity, reliability, difficulty and distinguishing power. The instrument used is 25 questions. From the data analysis, students recalled in classical manner that is 70,5%. Based on the results of the data, the effectiveness can be illustrated with individual students' recollections of 15 students having R ≥ 70 (46.87%), 11 students having 60 <R <70 (34.37%) and 6 students having R <60 (18 , 75%). The effectiveness of treatment is not met where t count is greater than ttable that is 15,33> 1,6955 so H1 accepted where there is difference siginfikan between result of posttest and retest. So it can be concluded that the use of methods of mnemonics in protista material in grade X SMA Budi Murni 3 Medan Year Learning 2017/2018 is not effective.Keywords: Mnemonics, Effectiveness, Memory
This study aims to determine the differences in learning outcomes and convey information to students taught using the Picture and Picture and Inside-Outside Circle learning model on virus material in class X IPA SMA Negeri 2 Siborongborong. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling technique, with 32 students as the first experimental class (I) using the Picture and picture model, and 31 students as the second experimental class (II) using the Inside outside circle model. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The hypothesis testing results using the Independent Sample T-test showed that the student learning outcomes obtained the sig value. 0.029 <0.05, while the ability to convey student information obtained a sig value. 0.031 <0.05. The hypothesis testing results show differences in learning outcomes and students' ability to convey information using the Picture and Picture and Inside-Outside Circle learning model on virus material in class X IPA SMA Negeri 2 Siborongborong.
This study aimed to determine the feasibility level of digestive system learning multimedia developed using Android Studio as a source of student self-study based on the responses of material experts, media experts, biology teacher, and students. The research used a 4-D model of instructional development design, including the define, design, develop, and disseminate stages, limited to the limited deployment stage to see students' classical learning completeness. Research preparation began in September – January 2022. Product trials are carried out at SMA Negeri 1 Kutabuluh. The results showed that the Learning Multimedia that had been developed was feasible to be used as a source of student self-study because it met the eligibility criteria with an average score of 4.3 from material experts who were included in the very good criteria, an average score of 4.4 from media experts who included in the very good criteria, the average score of 4.9 from the subject teachers included in the very good criteria, and the average score of 4.82 from the large group trial students who were included in the very good criteria. Classical learning completeness of students in a limited distribution got a percentage of 94%.
This study aims to determine the effect of the POE learning model on student learning outcomes and retention. This study uses a quantitative approach with a pre-test, posttest, and retest design. The type of research used is a quasi-experimental research with a research sample of class XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Aek Natas in the 2020/2021 learning year. The sampling technique used simple random sampling. The data analysis technique used is to test the hypothesis using the T-test at a significant level of α = 5%. If the price of the F-count is greater than Ftable, then H0 is rejected, and Ha is accepted. Learning outcomes are measured by giving a posttest to students, while retention is measured by providing a retest for 14 days two times. The mean of learning outcomes in the experimental class was 83.88, while the mean learning outcomes in the control class were 78 so that there was a difference in learning outcomes between the control class and the experimental class by 5.88 points. The average retention 1 in the experimental class was 97.07%, while the average retention 1 in the control class was 88.06%, so that there was a point difference of 9.01%. The second retention means results in the experimental class obtained 95.77%, while in the control class, it was 79.53% so that there was a point differential of 16.24%. The experimental class decreased retention points 1 to 2 by 1.3% and for the control class by 8.53%. This study indicates that there is an effect of the POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) learning model on student learning outcomes and retention of plant tissue material.
