The mechatronic technology raises a new requirement for the product design process which is both mechanical and electrical design need to be more interactive, collaborative and integrated.. In order to satisfy the requirement, in this paper, a new integrated CAD system has been developed based on the 3d modeling kernel Open CASCADE. The main 3D mechanical and 2D electronic digital design functions are developed and integrated in the system. In addition, the electromechanical parts library, which was built in the system, includes not only mechanical information such as 3D package geometry structure but also electronic properties of electronic components. The circuit logical design can be carried out in the 2D logical design module of the system, and next important electromechanical design process is PCB layout and optimazation with mechanical structure are integrated in 3D environment. At last, an example is shown to illustrate the system, which can support the design of mechatronic products, decrease the interactive work and data exchange between mechanical and electronic information and improve the design efficiency.
This paper introduces the basic principle, features and overall structure of Aviation Aluminum Alloy technology CAPP system. It also discusses 3 key techniques of the system : 1. designing Parts Classification Coding System based on Group Technology. 2. key features coding. 3. technology query based on the part similarity. After coding a new Aviation Aluminum Alloy structural part, the system can work out the part similarity between the new part and the existing ones and show the typical technology of the part which has the highest similarity.
In this paper, an aviation aluminum-alloy cutting technology database system was built with SQL Server 2008 and Visual Studio 2010, according to the problem that the management of aviation aluminum structural parts for production is inefficient. The establishment of the aviation aluminum-alloy cutting technology database used Group Technology to classify the technology data of aviation aluminum alloy structural parts, based on analyzing the structures of many aviation aluminum structural components. At the last part of the paper, an example was taken to show the practicality of the system.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
