Nueve especies de peces marinos (Oligoplites sp., Epinephelus sp., Centropomus undecimalis, Centropomus pectinatus, Pomadasys sp., Lutjanus sp., Cynoscion sp., Arius jordani, Arius troscheli) de Charambirá, departamento de Chocó, costa Pacífica colombiana, se examinaron para trematodos. Se encontraron siete especies pertenecientes a seis familias: Manterias brachyderus, Tergestia laticollis, Pseudoacanthostomun panamense, Prosorhynchus pacificum, Pseudocryptogonimus cirrhitia, Pleorchis americanus y Megasolena sp. Todas las especies son descritas e ilustradas.
Se describen parásitos del filum Apicomplexa de los géneros Lankesterella, Dactylosoma y Haemogregarina, parásitos en ranas de la zona del Pacífico de Colombia. Se discute el estado actual de la taxonomía de estos organismos.
