Purpose: The purpose of this study is to check the impact of technological advancement on employee performance in banking sector.Methodology: This paper was completed with the help of extensive literature on technological advancement and employee performance available on the databases and websites. Primary data has been used in this paper to check the impact of technological advancement on employee performance. SPSS 16 software package is used to analyze the employee responses and statistical technique Regression analysis is used to check the impact of technological advancement on employee performance. Findings:Total of 140 questionnaires has been distributed among different banks and out of which 100 were get completed and returned. After analyzing the data very efficiently, we find that technological advancement has significant impact on motivation and training of employees. Motivation has significant impact on employee performance but training has no significant impact on employee performance. Moreover as the concerned for technological advancement and employee performance, there is significant relationship among them.
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to find out the determinants that mainly affect the customer service quality perception of internet banking amongst genders and different age groups. Design/methodology/approach: Sample of 120 internet banking customers was used to gather data, which was further utilized to find out how 8 major determinants affect the customer service quality perception of internet banking. Findings: The research found that Web design, security, trust, product diversification, credibility, collaboration, access and communication strongly affect the customer perception about the quality of internet banking service. Research limitations/ implication:The data was gathered from the banks in Bahawalpur which limited the scope of this study particularly to this region so future research can be done to gathered data from all over the Pakistan so that the cross cultural factors could be identified clearly.
Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to check the effectiveness of the performance appraisal system in private school.Design/methodology/approach: Data were collected by survey questionnaire from a random sample of 44teaching staff in City school Bahawalpur branch.Finding: The results are in first section, checking the status of performance appraisal system, overall 44 respondent which are employees all of them agreed with performance appraisal system status, in other words they perceived that performance system works effectively. In second section checking the impact of performance appraisal system on employees, I conclude that 28 employees affected by performance appraisal system.Practical implications: The finding useful for management who are reviewing the operational effectiveness of performance management within own schools, as well as for organizations that are considering the introduction of performance management into their school system.Originality/Value: This paper might be of particular value to national or private school management that wish to consider how to evaluate the effectiveness of various options before introducing a system of performance appraisal system.
