The article analyzes the cost of school set for the first-former as an indicator of expenses spent on yearly child fittingup for school. The calculation of the first-former set was done on the basis of the standard list of goods fixed by Rosstat for each region with regard to annual price dynamics in 2006–2021. The results show that the cost of the set rises every year both in absolute figures and in relation to the regional living wage. At the same time estimation of the average per capita income of households without children, households with one, two, three and more children based on selective monitoring of population income in 2014–2021 showed that the cost of school set for the firstformer exceeded the average per capita income of families with children and the gap increases with the number of children. The obtained results prove the necessity to develop measures of social support of families with school children. In the article the authors study the effective regional measures of supporting such families and put forward approaches to their upgrading. The research can be useful for working-out measures aimed at cutting the poverty rate in entities of the country, as families with children are the most vulnerable in the context of risk of getting into poverty.
Providing social support to poor citizens is one of the most effective tools for reducing poverty. The article discusses the creation of a system of food assistance to poor citizens as one of the most effective measures of social support aimed at reducing poverty. Various ways of organizing this system are shown, domestic and foreign experience is analyzed, conclusions about its strengths and weaknesses are drawn, practical recommendations are given for organizing a food aid system in the form of a system of specialized food cards (food stamps or coupons) in the Russian Federation at the federal level. The potentiality of stimulating economic growth and supporting national agriculture with through the same program is also considered. The socio-economic development of the Russian Federation is a priority of the national development of the country. The article examines the relationship between the minimum wage level and various socio-economic indicators, such as the subsistence minimum level, unemployment, the population of the region and its GRP level, and the minimum accrued wages. The object of the study of the relationship between the minimum wage level and the achieved socio-economic indicators of the federal subjects of Russia is the development process of the federal subjects of the Russian Federation. Elaborating on the object of study, we take the subject of the research as the potential relationship between various indicators of the development of the federal subjects of the Russian Federation, specifying the process of their development. Thus, the paper aims to identify the relationship between various socio-economic indicators of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, characterizing the process of their development and the minimum wage level in the federal subjects of the Russian Federation. The scientific novelty lies in distinguishing two types of federal districts of the Russian Federation according to the relationship between the minimum wage value and the leading socio-economic development indicators. The main research methods are analysis, systematization and modeling. The paper reveals the relationships between individual factors of the socio-economic development of the country and the value of the minimum wage. In the course of the study, the author obtained the following results: the relationship between the level of the minimum wage and the leading indicators of the socio-economic development of the country, and two types of federal districts according to this relationship. The most practical interest of the study is the classification of federal districts in relation to the indicators of their socio-economic development to the minimum wage, which will allow adjusting the ongoing programs of their socio-economic development.
