The COVID-19 pandemic has indeed forced people to do more activities from home, including the learning process. The learning from home policy is not accompanied by rules and regulations such as what this learning process should be carried out. As a result, various learning processes emerged, from what they are to complex things. This study aims to find innovations and learning solutions during a pandemic, to support learning from home. Online learning is the only option. It's just that, based on the problems and constraints revealed, this online learning must be packaged like traditional face-to-face learning. The choice then turned to blended learning, with various adjustments. Face-to-face learning is carried out via video conference if needed only. The shortcomings are then overcome by compiling learning materials in the form of problem-based, text-based, video, or multimedia practical guides. The learning process is complemented by the opening of active interactive communication channels. Learning evaluation is carried out not only on results but also considering the process and self-evaluation. All of this learning process should be as optimal as possible using a mobile device or smartphone.
Applied Mathematics is a basic skill that determines the success of students in pursuing their education in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Besides having to understand concepts and be able to solve cases according to the topics taught, students are also required to be able to solve mathematical engineering problems in the application of mechanical engineering. This makes it a difficult subject for the majority of students. This difficulty is overcome by applying blended learning. This is done by integrating curriculum design with strategy and use of learning technology so that innovation and teaching excellence are formed to support the learning process of students. Learning strategies that can be applied include explanations of concepts, problem-based learning, problem-solving and case discussions. This learning strategy is supported by multimedia technology and internet-based, namely video tutorials, discussion of material and examples of online-based cases and online discussion forums. The process of face-to-face learning in class is still being carried out. The key to the success of this learning lies in the ability to create interactions between students and fellow students, with teachers, with the community, with the material with the use of existing technology.
There are millions of different colors that exist in this nature. There are colors that can easily be distinguished from other colors, but many are also difficult to distinguish. The ability to distinguish colors is important in the recognition of an object, especially objects in an image. Color can be represented in a three-dimensional RGB color space and each color will have an RGB value with a range of values ??from 0-255. Conceptually, colors with different RGB values ??are different colors, but the human eye may not necessarily be able to distinguish them. This study aims to determine and measure the color dissimilarity that can be distinguished by humans. With an experiment comparing a color with a color made with a variation of RGB values, this study resulted that two colors that have a Delta E (?E) value of 8 can be distinguished by the eye. This result is obtained if both colors have a value of ?R, ?G or ?B of at least 8, or a value of ?RG, ?RB or ?GB of at least 6, or a value of ?RGB of at least 5.
This study aims to design and build an information system that is able to determine the health level of the Village Credit Institution (LPD) which has an important role in supporting the economy of a village community. As a financial institution owned by a traditional village in Bali, LPD management is regulated based on Bali's Level I Regional Regulations. The main activity of the LPD is to collect funds from the community in the form of savings or deposits, and redistribute it to the community in the form of credit. A portion of the profits obtained will be handed over to the traditional village to finance village development. In the midst of intense competition between existing financial institutions and news of several LPD cases that have problems, monitoring the LPD's health level becomes something important and mandatory. The resulting information system is expected to assist and facilitate the Supervisory Agency in conducting an assessment of the health level of LPDs. The method used to assess the health level of LPD in this system is the CAMEL method which has 5 (five) aspects, namely capital, assets, management, earnings, and liquidity.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
