Educational tourism development activities on the ecotourism attraction of Bukit Cemeng in the Sidembunut Traditional Village, CempagaVillage, Bangli District, Bangli Regency. Cemeng hill is the result of the thinking of the surrounding community in developing a hilly area that is packaged in mutual cooperation. The many types of plants found in Bukit Cemeng are often the subject of discussion and questions from children, teenagers to adults about the names and benefits of each plant, especially ecotourism, which is always synonymous with the authenticity and beauty of tourist sites. This study aims to introduce the benefit of various kinds of coconut plants for tourists education. The educational model for tourists will be in the form instructions for each coconut plant in the various types. Community service activities carried out by the Travel Industry Study Program using qualitative method and discussion. The introduction of the type of coconut has become one of the sacred symbols for the Balinese people in particular so that it is expected to be able to increase direct knowledge for tourists from all walks of life. At this study, the people at DTW gained new knowledge about various kinds of traditional plants to be used as well as a provision in educating tourists.
This research aims to community movements both spontaneously and in an organized manner, such as the Trash Hero Indonesia community and other community activities that care about the high waste generation. In addition to the Trash Hero community, indepth interviews were conducted with the Waste Bank and tourist attraction in knowing the management of waste generation. It is hoped that alternative activities will be obtained to help reduce the generation of plastic waste that supports the implementation of Bali Governor Regulation number 97 of 2018. Activities from the community are expected to be able to maintain and provide a positive legacy for future generations. The purpose of this research is to find movements made by the community to help reduce the generation of plastic waste on the island of Bali. The results of this study are expected to increase public awareness of waste management both organic and non organic.
Bukit Cemeng ecotourism has an interesting attraction related to nature and interesting photo spots. As one of the ecotourism destinations in Bangli, Bukit Cemeng faces challenges from the beginning to the present, which are related to the pandemic. In the life cycle of a tourist destination, there are phases starting from the exploration phase, community involvement, development to the decline and rejuvenation phase. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with the researcher as the main instrument conducting research in the field and observing. The research data was carried out by direct interviews with the Bukit Cemeng Ecotourism manager, literature review and primary data search. The research data is based on literature studies from books, journal articles related to the Destination life cycle. Research activities were carried out in 2021 and were continued in April to June 2022. The expected results of this activity are related to the fulfillment of the life cycle of tourist destinations, the time period for each phase is fulfilled in Bukit Cemeng Ecotourism, especially when this research occurs. In addition to fulfilling the life cycle, this research to obtain alternative strategies for ecotourism in dealing with current conditions. Such as the strategy of making a jogging track as an additional attraction for Bukit Cemeng ecotourism.
Bali is one of the islands with tourism potential that has grown rapidly. The fame of Bali Island tourism is well known to all corners of the world. Many of the people's daily activities become a tourist attraction for both domestic and foreign tourists. Every activity, especially those that give rise to this tourist attraction, produces waste both on a household and industrial scale. The waste produced is almost found in all sectors of activity, one of which is the tourism industry which is currently very much still moving. The increase in waste generation has prompted the government of Bali through the issuance of the Governor of Bali Regulation number 97 of 2018 concerning the limitation of single-use plastic waste, which shows the seriousness of the waste problem. Waste generation, especially in tourist attraction, has the potential to change the view of tourists on the image of Bali tourism. There are several factors that make a product can be categorized as a souvenir typical of a region. Among them is having the distinctiveness of a place or unique, relative price, can be carried by hand, has a value of reminiscence, is able to be awarded and have the memory of events from somewhere. Typical regional products Juwana one of them is Batik Offering. This study aims to determine whether Batik Bakaran fulfills the criteria for a souvenir and development efforts. The study was conducted using qualitative method by conducting depth interviews with informants. Informants are looking for is a trader and craftsmen Batik Bakaran, and buyers who frequently use the product Batik Offering. Based on research data obtained, Batik Bakaran can be called as souvenirs of the District Juwana because it has a strong characteristic 5 of the 6 available. For development efforts that have been made for this, among others, by utilizing technology to introduce the product, participated in the exhibition to get a new variation of the motif.
