The topical issue of providing aircraft with ground handling equipment of flights that would meet modern requirements of functional and quality indicators, international standards and prospects for the development of aircraft in the context of cooperation with NATO countries is considered. The results of the analysis of open literature sources on the possibilities of manufacturing means of ground maintenance of aircraft by the military-industrial complex of Ukraine are presented. The methodology of the system approach is aimed at the development of general requirements for ground-based power supply and start-up of aircraft engines. Analysis of trends in domestic and foreign models of ground handling equipment has determined that the problem of ensuring a given military-technical level of the fleet of military aircraft and helicopters is becoming more relevant every year, and work to create products and their components requires a comprehensive system approach. Methodical approaches to the development of general requirements for ground-based means of power supply of aircraft are presented. The practical significance of the obtained results lies in the possibility of their use to justify the decision to supply these samples of special-purpose ground handling equipment to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In this regard, the main task of the military-industrial sector of Ukraine is to prepare the production of analogues of electric and gas equipment for ground handling of aircraft and helicopters and their harmonization with NATO standards.
In the design, modernization and further aircraft operation, the issue of bonding as a means of electromagnetic interference control from equipment and static electricity, lightning protection is given much attention. The relevance of this article lies in the need to understand and comply with the requirements of the standards of all parts of the research and production cycle of modernization of aircraft from enterprises that develop devices and equipment for aircraft to the design bureaus of aircraft repair plants. To ensure the normal operation of radio technical apparatus on aircraft, protection against interference is applied, that caused by electrostatic charges due to voltage ripples on the generator commutator and engine manifold or at the output of rectifiers, as well as due to magnetic fields generated by various electrical facilities and wires. Interference protection of aircraft onboard equipment from electromagnetic interference is achieved by carrying out special measures, including screening of conductors, harnesses of the aircraft electrical system and ignition system of power drive units, bonding of shielding coatings of conductors and harnesses, structural elements and aircraft units. Bonding is also carried out to protect against lightning strikes. The article analyzes the requirements of state and industry standards for bonding, as the main technical measure of lightning protection and electromagnetic interference control on aircraft. Careful selection of the requirements of the standards allows to properly conduct and control the bonding of aircraft. It helps to determine the division of responsibilities in the design, execution and control of the state of bonding.
A number of terrorist attacks have occurred worldwide in recent years. Terrorist organizations under the guise of “fighting for human rights”, with limited financial support from other countries, are trying to destabilize the situation in the country. At the same time, various methods of terrorist acts and attacks are used, which have severe economic and political consequences. The possible threat of such terrorist acts on the territory of our country has forced to raise questions about the protection of important state facilities (including base airfields of the State Aviation of Ukraine). In order to counter terrorist acts, which have recently been carried out in most cases with the use of unmanned aerial vehicles, which significantly increases the awareness of terrorists about the object in real time and allows making changes to previously planned actions if needed, the authors consider possible technical ways for improving systems of protection for base airfields of the State aviation of Ukraine from actions of terrorist groups with the use of basic types of sUAS. On the basis of characteristics analysis, possible tactics and features of employment of sUAS, existing technical means of detection and defeat, experience on the mentioned issues in other countries, the authors of article offered a variant of construction, a set of means for detection and counteraction (defeat) of sUAS.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
