The acoustic method of measurement of speed and direction of turbulent air movement is discussed in the paper. Presented method is based on homodyne frequency conversion of ultrasonic signal. The changing of ultrasonic wave phase progression in relation to air movement is considered. The measuring system heterodyne signal is obtained from origin signal by means of frequency shift with the saving of ultrasonic signal initial phase. The spectral analysis of frequency transformation was carried out in this paper. This analysis was implemented by the simulation and the spectral measurement of real digital-level signal.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
