In this study, it is aimed to investigate the differentiation in the level of the field competences of teachers of Religion and Morality from Imam Hatip Secondary Schools based on some individual and school demographic variables. The Special Field competencies determined by MEB were transformed into 5-points Likert-type questonnaire based on the opinion of experts. Data gathered from the sample 355 teachers of Religion and Morality working in 78 Imam Hatip secondary schools in Kütahya, Uşak, Balıkesir, Eskişehir, Manisa ve Afyonkarahisar in 2015 were analyzed with Cramer V, Mann Whitney-U test, Kruskal Wallis-H test. It is found that teachers' perceptions of competency do variate to the subgroups of "faculty", "in-service training", "high school training", "gender", age", "experience" and "Qur'an hafiz" variables.
