Abstrak: Pelatihan pemanfaatan sampah anorganik dilaksanakan pada salah satu sekolah dasar MI di Kecamatan Tanggulangin, Kabupaten Sidoarjo dengan menggandeng Dinas Lingkungan Hidup dan Kebersihan Kabupaten Sidoarjo sebagai simulasi kewirausahan anak dikarenakan belum pernah adanya edukasi dan pelatihan serupa di MI. Tujuan kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah: (1) meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dalam pemanfaatan sampah organik di sekolah; dan (2) meningkatkan keterampilan siswa dalam pemanfaatan sampah organik sebagai simulasi kewirausahaan. Pelatihan ini dibagi menjadi dua tahapan, yakni sosialisasi jenis-jenis sampah beserta cara pengolahannya dan pelatihan pengolahan sampah anorganik seperti bungkus kopi instan menjadi barang yang bernilai ekonomis dan berguna. Hasil dari kegiatan abdimas ini antara lain: (1) meningkatnya pemahaman siswa MI dalam pemanfaatan dan pengolahan sampah anorganik dengan perolehan rata-rata skor pretest 40% (55,5) dan skor postest 60% (85); dan (2) meningkatnya pengetahuan siswa terkait pentingnya mengolah kembali sampah anorganik sebagai salah satu pencegahan permasalahan lingkungan dengan capaian jumlah skor 500 (Kelompok 1 dan 5), 490 (Kelompok 2 dan 4), dan 485 (Kelompok 3).Abstract: The training on the use of inorganic waste was carried out at one of the MI elementary schools in Tanggulangin District, Sidoarjo Regency by cooperating with the Sidoarjo Regency Environment and Hygiene Service as a simulation of child entrepreneurship because there had never been such education and training in MI. The objectives of this training activity are: (1) to increase students' understanding of the use of organic waste in schools; and (2) improving students' skills in the use of organic waste as a simulation of entrepreneurship. This training is divided into two stages, namely the socialization of the types of waste and how to process them and training on the processing of inorganic waste such as instant coffee packs into items of economic value and usefulness. The results of this community service activity include: (1) increasing the understanding of MI students in the utilization and processing of inorganic waste with an average pretest score of 40% (55.5) and a posttest score of 60% (85); and (2) increasing students' knowledge regarding the importance of reprocessing inorganic waste as one of the prevention of environmental problems with total scores of 500 (Groups 1 and 5), 490 (Groups 2 and 4), and 485 (Groups 3).
