This study shows that the existence of culture in Indonesian language learning for foreign speakers (BIPA) has an important role. In addition to being used to enrich teaching materials in BIPA learning, cultural content is able to introduce Indonesian cultural identity to the international realm, both locally and nationally. Cultural content in BIPA learning is also one of the strategic steps that can be applied as a strategy to face MEA. Through cultural-based BIPA learning, it is expected that foreign students who learn Indonesian will be closer and know about multiculturalism in Indonesia. This research was conducted at State Universities in Surakarta City, namely UNS and IAIN. Data collection techniques are carried out in three ways, namely (1) Observation, (2) document analysis, and (3) interview. The data validity technique in this study is triangulation technique. Meanwhile, the studies discussed in the study were about the implementation of culture-based Indonesian language learning carried out at state universities holding the BIPA program in Surakarta and several relevant literature studies. © IJERE. Environmental literacy is a person’s ability to understand and interpret environmental conditions. Based on the understanding and interpretation, the person can decide to maintain, restore, and improve environmental conditions. The goal of environmental literacy is to develop a generation having awareness of and care about the environment, knowledge, skills, attitudes, motivation, and commitment to work individually and collectively to find solutions to environmental problems. This important ability needs to be instilled from an early age because character education in children is long term. This study research uses the literature review method with data collected from books, official reports, organizational websites, and research reports published in national and international online journals. This study aims to examine and describe the steps in instilling early literacy in learning activities in Kindergarten using Kamishibai as learning media. The results of this literature analysis show that instilling environmental literacy using Kamishibai can be integrated in the 2013 Curriculum and can foster students’ awareness of their environment.
Environment project-based learning integrated audio-visual media is a learning method that involves students in projects related to the surrounding environment.The purpose of this study is to determine the effect ofenvironment project-based learning integrated audio-visual media on student discipline. This study uses a quantitative method with the type of experimental research using design preexperimental design, that isthe one group pretest posttest design. The population of this research was class VIIIA students of SMPIT Insan Kamil, which consisted of 20 students. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling. The data collection method was carried out using a non-test in the form of a questionnaire sheet. Hypothesis testing was carried out using a nonparametric test using the Wilcoxon formula. The results showed that there was an influence from the Environment project-based learning model that was integrated with audio-visual media on student discipline which could be seen from the posttest score which was higher than the pretest score for discipline. AbstrakEnvironment project-based learning terintegrasi media audio visual merupakan metode pembelajaran yang melibatkan siswa dalam proyek yang berhubungan dengan lingkungan sekitar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari environment project-based learning terintegrasi media audio visual terhadap kedisiplinan siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan tipe penelitian eksperimen menggunakan desain preexperimental design, yaitu the one group pretest posttest design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIIA SMPIT Insan Kamil yang berjumlah 20 siswa. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah sampling jenuh. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan nontes berupa lembar angket. Uji hipotesis dilakukan menggunakan uji nonparametrik dengan menggunakan formula Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh dari model Environment project-based learning yang terintegrasi dengan media audio visual terhadap kedisiplinan siswa yang dapat dilihat dari nilai posttest yang lebih tinggi daripada nilai pretest sikap disiplin.
