Keefektifan Metode Karya Wisata dalam Pembelajaran Menulis Teks Deskripsi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan keefektifan metode karya wisata dalam pembelajaran teks deskripsi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 24 Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi-experimental. Data dalam penelitian ini merupakan data hasil belajar siswa. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari pedoman penelian menulis teks deskripsi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pretest, perlakuan dan postest. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam menganalisis data yaitu analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tes menulis teks deskripsi setelah diterapkan metode karya wisata memeroleh nilai yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan sebelum diterapkan metode karya wisata. Hal ini ditunjukkan pada hasil tes siswa sebelum diterapkan metode karya wisata (pretest) yang hanya memperoleh nilai 75 sebagai nilai tertinggi. Sedangkan pada hasil tes setelah diterapkan metode karya wisata (postest), siswa memperoleh nilai tertinggi 85.
The teaching camp is a program during the pandemic. This study aims to explore the university student's impression of the Teaching Camp program that is expected to challenge the university students to connect between universities and the real world or the world of work. This study applied qualitative descriptive research to summarize specific events experienced by individuals or groups of individuals in everyday words. This research was conducted in the Department of English Education, University of Bosowa, Makassar, Indonesia. Four university students participating in the Teaching Camp program were willing to support this study. There are three steps in qualitative analysis in this study using data reduction, data display, and conclusions, namely, to find out the interview answers that have been given to students, then each answer is analyzed using words and according to student answers. This study found that university students have an important role in implementing the ministry of education and culture program. The role referred to here is that university students are the driving force by providing new innovations in learning and being involved in implementing the learning process by teaching literacy and numeracy. Class 1 of the Teaching Camp program enables university students to have an academic and social experience while serving as education facilitators in suburban areas. With so many shortcomings, it is hoped that this first-class Teaching Camp program will become an in-depth evaluation material for the Ministry of Education and Culture and the university.
Abstract-This research aims to convey the morphosyntax in Tae' language. This is descriptive qualitative research supported by library and field method. The library and field research method aims to find the detail and complete data. Moreover, the research analyzes words, phrases, clauses, and sentences in Tae' language as primary data. The results show that there are some features that mark morphosyntax in Tae' language. They are reduplication process, derivational affixation, and sentence structures that describe the word orders of Tae' language. Reduplications of Tae' language are containing of full and partial reduplication. Whereas, the derivational affixations of Tae' language are containing of prefixes and suffixes. The form of prefixes is ma-, ku-, na-di-, and si-. And, the form of suffixes is -i, -ko, and -mu. Those affixes are derived from derivation process namely the basic construction or sentence structures.Index Terms-morphosyntax, the qualitative method, and Tae' language
This study aims to examine the form of language code, literary code, cultural code in the novel Puya Ke Puya by Faisal Oddang as teaching materials for prose fiction literature study programs in universities. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques are documentation with reading and listening techniques, and recording techniques. Data analysis was carried out through several stages, namely data identification, data classification, description, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the language codes used in the Puya Ke Puya novel were the use of regional languages in the form of greetings, kinship elements, everyday vocabulary and the use of foreign languages, literary codes depicted in words with connotations and figurative meanings, cultural codes in the novels concerned the system. The culture that exists among the Toraja people such as social organization systems, living equipment systems and technology, and religious systems.
This study aims to describe the form and form of linguistic representation in the CNN Indonesia news text by using social change analysis from Norman Fairclough. The focus of this research is text analysis, text production, and sociocultural analysis with data in the form of grammatical features. This research is a discourse analysis study in the form of critical discourse analysis (AWK). The data source of this research is CNN Indonesia online media which contains words, phrases, clauses, and sentences. The research data was obtained by using documentation, reading, and note-taking techniques. The results show that there are grammatical features which include: (1) modality, (2) negation, (3) sentence mode, (4) transitivity, (5) personal pronouns, and (6) passivity which represents the form of linguistic representation through power in in the news text. Judging from the production of the text, it is shown that the producer of the text in presenting the news cannot be separated from the aspect of domination and power, either power or domination by groups or individuals. In addition, the power in the text serves to strengthen the position of a subject in the text so that the reader is focused on the discourse conveyed by the author of the text. Furthermore, as an implication of the research results, a critical reading enrichment book was compiled.
