This study aims to design a multimedia learning introduction to the categorization of animals classified as herbivores, carnivores, and omnivores. The background of this research is that it is very easy for children to understand explanations in the cartoons or animations they watch. The impact if the lack of desire of children to learn can be bad for the children themselves and also this nation. This learning multimedia is designed using the ADDIE model system development method with five process stages, Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The data collection method used in this study was observation, interview, documentation and library study. The application used for the development of this learning media was Adobe Flash. The research instrument consisted of a validity questionnaire. Product verification is carried out by two validators who are competent in the aspects of material and design. The results of the product validation developed in terms of material aspects fulfill the validity of 98%, achieving very valid criteria. Furthermore, the design aspect with valid criteria has a validity percentage of 87%. Based on the testing stages, it can be concluded that learning multimedia applications are identified as valid for use as teaching materials.
The purpose of this study to solve specific problems, in this case, is to build a knowledge-based system of experts and doctors in diagnosing diabetes. Based on the preliminary study results through observation and interviews at the Puskesmas Sandar Pagar Alam Community Center, the facilities there have not been too far using the technology to identify diabetes where a patient should control the doctor directly without knowing the signs or causes of diabetes. From here the researcher will create the expert system by using web-based forward chaining reasoning by using PHP programming with MySQL database which quoted from diabetes expert and supporting book based on the result from preliminary study through observation and interview at Sandar Angin Pagaralam Community Health Center. By using rules based on questions that lead to diabetes to produce a decision of the question that passed. So as to produce a system that can be used to overcome all problems faced by patients for early diagnosis of diabetes and to help health professionals in delivering information about diabetes to patients.
Seiring perkembangan teknologi, dikembangkan pula sauatu sistem teknologi yang mampu mengadopsi proses dan cara berpikir manusia yaitu system pakar yang mengandung pengetahuan tertentu sehingga setiap orang dapat menggunakanya untuk memecahkan masalah yang bersifat spesifik, dalam hal ini adalah membangun sebuah sistem berbasis pengetahuan paerawat gigi dalam mendiagnosa panyakit gigi yang ditampilkan dalam bentuk website menggunakan pemrograman PHP dengan database MySQL. Metode sistem pakar yang digunakan adalah backward chaining dengan pembuatan tabel keputusan dari data-data penunjang yang dikutip dari perawat gigi yang bersangkutan. Dengan fasilitas yang diberikan untuk user dan administrator, memungkinkan baik user maupun administrator untuk menggunakan sistem ini sesuai kebutuhannya masing-masing. User diberi kemudahan dalam mengetahui informasi berbagai jenis penyakit gigi dengan gejala-gejala klinisnya, serta konsultasi layaknya dengan seorang perawat gigi melalui beberapa pertanyaan yang harus dijawab user untuk mengetahui hasil diagnosanya. Sedangkan administrator dimudahkan dalam memanajemen sistem, baik proses tambah, hapus maupun update data terbaru.
