Average Length Of Stay (LOS) is an important indicator in determining the success of therapy for a disease and is also related to the cost of care incurred by the patient. the ideal value of AvLOS is 6-9 days. The level of AvLOS is influenced by the complications experienced by the patient. Typhoid fever is an endemic disease in Indonesia that knows no age and gender boundaries, and can cause various complications in the form of bleeding and intestinal perforation which can often lead to death. Based on the initial survey, the visit of typhoid fever patients in the last three years at Harapan Doa Hospital, Bengkulu City has increased, namely 2017 (11.02%), 2018 (13.47%) and 2019 (17.935) of the total visits/year, however, in 2020 it decreased (15.08%) due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This affects the AvLOS value and the cost received by the hospital. The purpose of this study was to determine the AvLOS value of typhoid fever patients at Harapan Doa Hospital, Bengkulu City. The type of research used is descriptive with a cross sectional approach. The sample of this study used a total population of 121 patients who were analyzed univariately using the AvLOS formula. The results of the univariate analysis, from the calculation results obtained that the total length of stay (LD) of typhoid fever patients was 395 days/year with AvLOS 3.18 days/year, the number of typhoid fever patients was out of life 124 (100%) patients, AvLOS of typhoid fever patients based on age group. The highest was found in the age group >1-5 years, namely 5.17 days compared to the age group >44-65 years, namely 3.43 days and >65 years, namely 3 days, where typhoid fever was accompanied by complications/companies. AvLOS of typhoid fever patients based on gender was found in female sex at 3.31 days with a total of 59 patients compared to male sex at 3.23 days with a total of 5 people. It is hoped that the hospital will formulate a clinical pathway for Typhoid Fever Treatment so that the quality of service for typhoid fever cases is in the efficientcategory.
Background: Progressing technology in the world need to fast and accurate information in the hospital agencies as the basis for appropriate making decision. The inpatient daily census reporting of system Bhayangkara Hospital Bengkulu don't have utilized the Inpatient Daily census system electronically and still uses a manual system, so that the processing of report data is less than optimal. There are still a lot of inputting errors, inaccurate data, and inefficient time and energy. This study to aim design system information inpatient daily census reporting application at the Bhayangkara hospital to existing problems solving.Methods: The method used in designing and making this application is by utilizing software development methods, namely the waterfall method which includes identification, analysis, design or design, implementation and maintenance of the system.Results: The results this study is creation of an application to facilitys the processing of data into an inpatient daily census report that is needed and to overcome the problems that arise because of the report processing system manually. Design and Creation of Inpatient Daily Census Applications with Visual Basic 6.0 Programming at Bhayangkara Bengkulu Hospital have been made with the results of an analysis of existing systems and according to the method used, and the design of the forms that have been made in accordance with the manual form or home party needs sick and can simplify filling out forms and processing the data.Conclusions: At Bhayangkara Bengkulu Hospital still uses a manual inpatient daily census system, and not on time for reporting daily cencus patient data. The data structure contained in the ledger consists of patient identity, patient diagnosis, and others. There are three processes in the stage of analyzing the needs of the inpatient daily census system, namely the data input process, data processing and data output processes. ledger, patient data consisting of patient identity, doctor's name, patient diagnosis, treatment room, and treatment class. In designing the daily inpatient census system at Bhayangkara Bengkulu Hospit consists of patient data forms, incoming patients, outgoing patients, and patients moving. The implementation of the daily inpatient census system at the Bhayangkara Bengkulu Hospital has carried out socialization and discussions about the user interface design to officers or users of the electronic daily census system. And the maintenance of the daily inpatient census system is carried out in several stages (1) corrective, by correcting design and errors in the program, (2) adaptive, by modifying the system according to user needs, (3) perfective, namely processing census data computerized.
Program KIA merupakan salah satu prioritas utama dalam rencana pembangunan jangka panjang nasional (RPJPN) di indonesia tahun 2005 – 2025, di puskesmas lingkar barat pengolahan data KIA masih menggunakan system manual dimana pengolahan data dicatat dibuku registrasi. Pencatatan manual membutuhkan waktu lebih dari 7 menit setiap pelayanan, dan sering terjadinya kesalahan dalam pencatatan dan pendataan serta membutukan waktu yang lama untuk melakukan pengolahan data pelaporan setiap bulannya, oleh karena itu perlu dikembangkannya system informasi KIA secara elektronik sehingga dapat membantu petugas dalam mengolah program KIA secara cepat, tepat, dan akurat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan Merancang Sistem Informasi Kesehatan Ibu dan anak di Puskesmas Lingkar Barat guna mengatasi permasalahan yang ada pada saat ini Metode yang digunakan dalam perancangan dan membuat desain system aplikasi dengan memanfaatkan metode pengembangan perangkat lunak yaiu metode wartefal. Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian deskriptif yaitu mengumpulkan data dengan cara melakukan pengamatan secara langsung terhadap objek penelitian. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode wawancara dan observasi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan data primer dan sekunder. Hasil dari penelitian ini sendiri adalah terciptanya sebuah aplikasi untuk mempermudah pengolahan data menjadi sebuah laporan KIA yang dibutuhkan dan mengatasi masalah yang timbul karena sistem Informai Program Kesehatan Ibu dan Anak secara manual. Perancangan dan Pembuatan desain system Informasi dengan menggunakan Pemrograman Visual Basic 6.0 di Puskesmas Lingkar Barat Kota Bengkulu telah dibuat dengan hasil analisis sistem yang sudah ada dan sesuai metode yang digunakan, serta desain perancangan yang elah dibuat sesuai dengan buku registrasi dan formulir pelaporan manual atau kebutuhan pihak rumah sakit dan dapat mempermudah peroses pengolahan sisem KIA. keterbatasan dalam melakukan penelitian ini adalah sulitnya melakukan wawancara secara langsung , dikarenakan situasi pandemic covid 19 Kontribusi : Penelitian ini dapat berguna dan di Puskesmas Lingkar Barat Kota Bengkulu untuk membantu dalam mengolaha data Registrasi dan Pelaporan Kata Kunci : Sistem Informasi, Program kia, EHR
