Limbah minyak jelantah dan kulit pisang di Desa Sendangsari cukup banyak. Hal tersebut dikarenakan banyaknya warga yang berprofesi sebagai penjual kuliner geblek ( sejenis gorengan yang dibuat dari tepung pati) ditambah lagi minyak jelantah yang dihasilkan dari rumahan. Melimpahnya sumber daya alam pisang dapat dimanfaatkan tidak hanya buahnya tetapi kulit pisang juga dapat digunakan sebagai penjernih minyak jelantah. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut maka limbah minyak jelantah dan limbah kulit pisang diolah untukmenjadi sabun cuci tangan dengan berbagai modivikasi sehingga dapat dijadikan cendramata dan souvenir pernikahan. Metode yang digunakan yaitu sistem pengolahan limbah berbasis zero waste industry. Konsep zero waste industry terdiri dari reduce (mengurangi), reause (menggunakan kembali) dan recycle (mendaur ulang). Kegiatan tersebut terdiri dari: 1) penyuluhan limbah minyak jelantah bagi lingkungan, 2) membentuk UMKM mandiri dan memprakarsai tabungan minyak jelantah, 3) pembuatan buku pengolahan limbah minyak jelantah dan strategi pemasaran 4) pelatihan penjernihan minyak jelantah, 5) pelatihan pengolahan limbah minyak jelantah menjadi sabun mandi, 6) pelatiahan SDM dalam kewirausahaan, 8) dan pendampingan perijinan. Luaran yang dihasilkan berupa teknik pengelolaan limbah minyak jelantah berbasis Zero Waste Industry, produk sabun cuci tangan, dan peningkatan kesadaran akan lingkungan serta terciptanya lapangan pekerjaan.
Textbooks that support learning Creative Critical Reading courses are still very minimal. It certainly affects the ability of students to understand reading skills. Students have limited ability to understand the theory due to the limitations of reverence. One effort that can be done is to develop textbooks. Textbooks should be able to motivate students. One effort that can be done is by developing ARCS-based teaching book (Attention, Relevance, Convidence, Satisfaction). This article aims to comply with ARCS-based teaching-learning techniques. Creation of Creative Critical Reading books with ARCS contains four components: awakening and attention to students' attention during learning (Attention), using subject matter that is relevant to the student's life (Relevance), instilling confidence, and cultivating a sense of satisfaction on students to learning (Satisfaction). The expected result in this research is the creation of ARCS-based critical and creative reading book
Pemerintah Kulonprogo berupaya menciptakan desa bebas sampah hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan mendirikan bank sampah sebanyak 100 unit tak terkecuali di Desa Karangsari. Pengelolaan sampah hingga saat ini belum optimal padahal sampah dapat diolah menjadi barang bernilai ekonomis. Keterbatasan pengetahuan dan minimnya keterampilan menjadi kendala dalam pengolahan limbah. Maka dari itu perlu adanya upaya untuk meningkatkan SDM dalam pengelolaan sampah organik maupun anorganik. Pemberdayaan masyarakat menuju desa berbasis sampah di Desa Karangsari Kecamatan Pengasih Kulonprogo bertujuan untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang sehat, membuka lapangan pekerjaan, terciptanya produk unggulan desa ramah lingkungan dan menunjang potensi pariwisata di Kulonprogo sehingga dapat meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat dan pendapatan daerah. Metode yang digunakan yaitu dengan penyuluhan dan pelatihan kepada masyarakat. Penyuluhan dan pelatihan yang diberikan tentang pengolahan limbah organik dan anorganik berbasis zero waste industry. Konsep zero waste industry terdiri dari reduce (mengurangi), reuse (menggunakan kembali), dan recycle (mendaur ulang). Luaran yang dihasilkan berupa teknik pengelolaan limbah organik dan anorganik berbasis Zero Waste Industry, produk unggulan desa aneka souvenir ramah lingkungan, terbentuknya UMKM, terciptanya lapangan kerja baru dan meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan.
This research describes the discourse of cyber literature in Indonesian using the theories of Michel Foucault's discourse. This research is describes research. The subjects is cyber literature. Data is collected by engineering literature and observation. The analysis process is performed by applying the method of excavation. The analisyst showes that cyber in the arguments for and against cyber literature found in the various discourses on the subject, a continuity and discontinuity related to cyber literature in Indonesia is evident. Continuity is evident in the position of the authors, who have the same rights as creators whether they be amateurs or professionals; the definition of cyber literature and genres of cyber literature; and the position of readers, who have the opportunity to communicate and be immediately involved with writers and works of cyber literature. Discontinuity is evidenced in the Indonesian literary culture's rejection of the canonicity of cyber literature, which has limited the growth of cyber literature as a literary form in Indonesia.
Folk stories are one of the literary works that describe the condition of the local community and contain cultural values. Indonesian folklore Malin Kundang has a connection between coastal culture and Si Tanggang folklore from Malaysia. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of coastal culture to the folklore of Malin Kundang with Si Tanggang folklore. The research method uses descriptive research. Qualitative research forms. The data source is in the form of document review. Document study data collection techniques. The results of the study there are equations of coastal culture including: (1) souls migrate, (2) hard workers, (3) have a division of caste namely nobles, merchants, and fishermen, (4) and believe in curses. The differences in coastal culture include: (1) coastal communities in Indonesia are pessimistic while the Malaysian coast is optimistic and (2) Karma only applies to perpetrators of crime while in Malaysia karma applies not only to the perpetrators of crime but also to those around them.
