Abstract. The strategy of production and application of biologically synthesized nanomaterials have become an integral part of nanotechnology. The present study involves the aqueous extraction of root (Pongamia Pinnata) and analyzing of phytochemical compounds and functional groups present in plant root by FTIR. The synthesis of silver nanoparticles was prepared by root extract (Pongamia pinnata); confirmation and characterization of synthesized silver nanoparticles was done by UV-VIS Spectroscopy, SEM and EDAX. Preparation of Nanogel was done by varying the concentrations of silver nanoparticle and paraffin wax. The best of 3 were selected for the further studies like in-Vitro anti-inflammatory, drug release and degradation studies; in respective of results observed in vitro drug release method showed that the nanogel was dispersed from dialysis membrane according to the time interval, in vitro degradation rate varies according to the concentration of nanogel preparation (Gel 1-40%,Gel 2-56% & Gel 362%),in vitro anti-inflammatory studies of membrane stabilization and protein denaturation showed no much of significant difference between standard drug aspirin along with prepared nanogel.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
