The objective of the work is to determine the characterization of the visual disability and its relation with the resilience in the students of the Technical University of Manabí. The work shows an analysis of the visual disability in students and its impact on the level of resilience. An analysis of resilience is addressed regarding the physical and mental state of the people, as well as the process of adapting to the problems and adversities of life. The results are shown in tables and graph on the analysis of the degree of visual disability of the students, as well as the application of the SV-RES test prepared by the researchers Saavedra & Villalta, 2008. Based on the evaluation of 12 dimensions, which allow verifying the situation according to three scales: high, average and low. Finally, the conclusions are offered where the objective stated in the investigation is verified.
The objective of the research is to develop resilience in people with visual disabilities at the Technical University of Manabí. The work offers a conceptual analysis on visual disability in students. It deals with what is related to the conceptual understanding of resilience, where several authors who have studied the subject are analyzed. The resilient capacity of students with visual impairment and the importance of psychological support is analyzed. The importance of the intervention in resilience is exposed, where the content of the Manual of Intervention in Resilience of Eugenio Saavedra 2011 is analyzed. The results of the measurement of resilience are shown in the students of the Technical University of Manabí who suffer from a visual disability and the situation that could be verified after applying the work of training in resilience to said personnel. Finally, the conclusions of the work are exposed, where the relevance of the study is demonstrated and a group of recommendations is made based on the importance of the results obtained in the research.
El objetivo de este estudio es identificar: los niveles de resiliencia en adolescentes de hogares disfuncionales y funcionales. Para ello, se encuestaron a 66 estudiantes de 10° año de la Unidad Educativa Fiscal Mixta “Pedro Zambrano Barcia”, a través de la aplicación de dos cuestionarios: Análisis de la Resiliencia en Adolescentes “A.R.A” y Resilience Scale “RS”. Asimismo, la investigación contó con un diseño metodológico cuali-cuantitativo, descriptivo y comparativo, cuyos resultados obtenidos indican que los adolescentes de hogares tanto disfuncionales como funcionales mantienen una moderada resiliencia.
En el siguiente artículo, se mostrarán los mecanismos psicológicos que auto regulan las emociones de los adolescentes ante el retorno a clases presenciales en la Unidad Educativa Particular Mixta “Manuel Andrade Ureta” post confinamiento debido al virus Covid-19 con una muestra de 30 estudiantes la investigación de carácter descriptiva y cuantitativa, descriptiva ya que describe la importancia de la autorregulación emocional y sus conceptos, cuantitativa por el uso del Cuestionario de Regulación Emocional (ERQ), creado por James Gross y John Oliver (2003) que evaluó estas áreas de autorregulación emocional dando como resultados: reevaluación cognitiva hombres: 4.82 y mujeres: 4.79, supresión expresiva en promedio general hombres 4.79 y mujeres 4.52, en conclusión estos valores están por encima de la media reflejando que este grupo si utiliza mecanismos de autorregulación emocional que los ayudan a autorregular sus emociones ante el retorno a clases presenciales.
