The textbook is the processed and added edition of the textbook published in 2018. In the book the General part of a course is stated Civil law (the subject and method of the relevant industry, the principles of civil law, sources, legal relationship, persons participating in civil legal relationship, etc.) and also are characterized such subsectors of civil law as real right, intellectual property right, inheritance law. Conforms to requirements of Federal state educational standard of higher education the last generations. It is intended for use in educational process in the direction of reparation 40.03.01 "Law" in educational organizations of the higher education.

The article analyzes a unique empirical material obtained in the course of a sociological study, the purpose of which is to reveal the content of the concept «intelligentsia» as it is comprehended by modern Russian youth. The author studies the correlation of this content with the traditional under-standing of the intelligentsia, presented in the leading Russian sociological approaches: socio-economic, cultural, social-ethical, and others. The main method of collecting primary sociological information is a questionnaire survey, which allows respondents to rank psychological, cognitive, socio-role, moral and ethical markers of the intelligentsia, as well as the markers that characterize the overall level of culture and education of a person. It is revealed that as the main ones, respondents use blocks that cover cognitive characteristics and markers of the general level of culture and upbringing. Moral, ethical and psychological properties and qualities are taken into account to a much lesser extent, while traditional social markers (belonging to a certain social stratum/group/class, profession/occupation/type of occupation, social attitudes and motivation, etc.) remain the outsiders of the sample. Based on the obtained data, a collective image of the intelligentsia through the eyes of modern Russian youth is formed. An opinion about the relevance of the resulting image to almost any person who has received a decent upbringing and education (regardless of the country of residence of this person, their civil position, moral and psychological qualities and characteristics, etc.) is discussed. It is concluded that modern Russian youth, who are not familiar with the etymology and classical interpretations of the concept of «intelligentsia», «dissolves» it in a close, but not identical concept of «intelligence».

The textbook covers current issues of legal regulation of intellectual property. The book deals with topical issues of copyright, related rights, patent law, intellectual property assessment, as well as topical issues of the emergence, implementation and protection of non-traditional intellectual property objects, implementation and protection of rights to means of individualization, international legal regulation and taxation of intellectual property. Special attention is paid to topical issues of legal regulation of intellectual property rights turnover. For better assimilation of the material, each paragraph of the textbook ends with questions for self-control, practical tasks and lists of recommended literature. Meets the requirements of Federal state educational standards of higher education of the latest generation. It is intended for use in the educational process in the direction of training 40.04.01 "Jurisprudence".

For the best digestion of material each chapter of the textbook comes to the end with a practical work which includes the thesaurus, control questions and tasks praktiko-focused and test tasks, the list of the recommended sources. Conforms to requirements of the Federal state educational standard of the higher education of the last generation.
