A crown-root fracture is defined as a fracture which involve enamel; dentin and root cementum with or without the involvement of pulp. If pulp is involved it is known as complicated crown-root fracture. It is usually oblique in nature involving both crown and root. In this case report we have a case of 20 year old female with oblique complicated crown-root fracture and an irreversible pulpitis of maxillary left canine. In this case endodontic therapy followed by reattachment of fractured fragment with a prefabricated fiber post followed by PFM crown was the treatment plan for the patient and patient responded successfully to treatment..

Mandibular molars exhibit variations in its internal anatomy; one among those is the presence of an extra canal in the mesial root called as middle mesial (MM) canal. Variation in the number of roots and canal morphology is not scarce. Presence of an additional root when found disto-lingually called as Radix entomolaris. This case report describes the treatment of chronic apical periodontitis with unusual morphology of mandibular first molars in 34 years old male patient. The treatment strategy included root canal therapy without the aid of any magnification devices.

The objective of the study was to evaluate post-obturation pain on the 1 st , 3 rd , and 7 th days on single-visit endodontic treatment after taking antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs.Methods: Permanent molars were managed with single-visit root canal treatment after pre-medication in 80 patients. Patients were randomly assigned to four groups (n = 20); Group-1; amoxicillin (500 mg) + clavulanic acid (125 mg), Group-2; aceclofenac (100 mg) + paracetamol (325 mg); Group-3; anti-inflammatory and antibiotics; and Group-4; without pre-medication. Medications were administered 1 h before treatment. Patients filled a visual analog scale form to rate their pain at 1 st , 3 rd , and 7 th days. Kruskal-Wallis test was used to obtain mean rank and the level of significance was set at 0.05.
