Fishery production in Padang City is dominated by catch fisheries. The catch of fish from year to year continues to increase. The purpose of this research is to study the marketing of fresh marine fish in Padang Utara District, Padang City with the SWOT method approach so that it can help traders in facing market competition and increasing sales in the future. The results showed that the more appropriate strategy to be used in determining the business development strategy of fresh sea fish traders in North Padang District, Padang City was in quadrant III, which means that it supports the Turn Around Strategy (reverse strategy) which is to achieve opportunities for fresh sea traders in the District. North Padang is very big, but on the other hand it faces some internal constraints/weaknesses. The focus of this strategy is to minimize the internal problems of fresh sea traders in North Padang District so that they can improve a better development strategy
Betok (A. testudineus) yang dilihat berdasarkan makanan utama yang dimakan oleh ikan tersebut . Penelitian analisis isi usus dan lambung dapat memberikan informasi dasar untuk menjaga kelestarian populasi ikan Betok (A. testudineus). Penelitian analisis isi usus dan lambung ikan Betok (A. testudineus) di aliran sungai Batang Masang Kenagarian Bawan Kecamatan IV, Kabupaten Agam dilakukan pada bulan April-Mei tahun 2021. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ikan Betok (A. testudineus) adalah jenis ikan omnivora karena dalam pencernaannya didominasi oleh jenis Bacillaryophyceae, Chlorophyceae, Cyanophyceae, Protozoa, Ciliata, Rotarita/Rotifera, dan Crustasea dengan 25 jenis sebanyak 5,858 ind/ml. Pakan alami fitoplankton yang mendominasi adalah pada klass Bacillaryophyceae dan zooplankton yang mendominasi adalah pada klas Crustasea.
One type of legume that is very suitable to be used as a raw material for making lobster feed is the sworded koro nut (Canavalia ensiformis). Soybeans which are a source of vegetable protein can now be supported by sword beans. The purpose of this study was to examine the quality of artificial feed using Koro Sword Nuts (Canavalia ensiformis) as a substitute for soybean flour for Sand Lobster (Panulirus homarus) feed. The method used is the experimental method with RAL using 4 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments in this study were A (artificial feed without sword koro beans (control)), B (2.5% sword koro beans in 1 kg artificial feed), C (3% sword koro beans in 1 kg artificial feed), and D ( 3.5% sword koro beans in 1 kg of artificial feed). Research data were analyzed using non-parametric Kruskal Wallis statistical test and described. The test animal used was the Sand Lobster (Panulirus homarus) with a size of 8-10 cm with an average weight of 200-300 grams. The results of the physical test showed that the parameters of breaking speed, level of hardness, level of homogeneity and attractiveness were significantly different from the use of Peanut Koro Sword flour, while the parameters of sinking speed and deliciousness were not significantly different. The results of the proximate chemical test of feed using the best swordfish flour was in feed B, which contained 9.34% Moisture Content, 11.87% Ash Content, Crude Protein (N x 6.25) 29.98%, Crude Fat 6, 84 %, Carbohydrates 41.92% and Crude Fiber 5.00 %.
Saat ini Lubuk Larangan Bendung Sakti Inderapura diperkirakan sedang bertahap menjadi sebuah destinasi wisata yang menarik. Ada beberapa aktivitas yang dapat dilakukan di perairan Lubuk Larangan Bendung Sakti yang berpotensi menjadi tempat ekowisata. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji bagaimana pengembangan ekowisata lubuk larangan tersebut yang dinilai dari A3 (Atraksi, Aksesibilitas, dan Amenitas) dan juga secara biofisik mutu kualitas air perairan Lubuk Larangan Bendung Sakti di Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pengharkatan skor dan dilanjutkan dengan uji mutu kualitas air menggunakan uji STORET.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bawwa Biofisik ditinjau dari aspek Atraksi, Aksesibilitas dan Amenitas pada kawasan perairan Lubuk Larangan Bendung Sakti tergolong ke dalam interval kondisi biofisik “Baik” yaitu dengan total skor 205. Kondisi mutu kualitas perairan berdasarkan hasil uji STORET menujukkan bahwa status mutu air di kawasan lubuk larangan memenuhi ambang batas kualitas air (tidak tercemar) dengan skor 0. Hal ini menunjukkan status mutu kualitas air di Lubuk Larangan Bendung Sakti dalam kategori baik sekali dan tergolong pada kelas A yaitu memenuhi baku mutu. Kondisi biofisik tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa kawasan Lubuk Larangan Bendung Sakti layak dan berpeluang untuk dijadikan sebagai kawasan ekowisata secara berkelanjutan.
