A method to control a resonant electromagnetic gear with a polarized magnetic system that pro vides the minimal seating speed of the armature and, correspondingly, of the valve is considered. A complex mathematical model of the drive is proposed. The device characteristics for different values of the viscous resistance coefficient are investigated. Results of mathematical modeling are compared with the experimental data, and the adequacy of the mathematical model is confirmed. The results of experimental investigations of the control device that implements the proposed method are presented.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
