The article is devoted to the study of the impact of the appearance of a child with special educational needs on the functioning of the family and the technologies of the most effective assistance to the child and family, as well as the involvement of male parents in the upbringing and development of a child with psychophysical developmental disorders. This article presents the parental movement, namely male fathers, unconditional and indisputable not only to strengthen the influence on the resolution of issues related to the realization of the rights of children with disabilities, but also to influence other male parents of such children. The success of this influence will be evident when the opinions and interests of both women and men are represented in the parenting movement. It was determined that male parents are the most vulnerable category in families in which a child with psychophysical developmental disorders was born. The essence of the "Conscious Fatherhood" project was revealed, the purpose of which is to identify activist fathers in the South and East of Ukraine and create a platform for communication and sharing the experiences of male activist parents. The authors indicate that the majority of male parents are able to help and, with appropriate resources, help other male parents and families raising a child with psychophysical developmental disorders. It was established that the majority of male parents are either not involved at all in solving the issues of raising and developing a child or are rarely involved. However, the level of desire and interest of male parents to be involved in such activities exceeds the actual level of involvement. This shows that male parents have a need to communicate with their child, make decisions about upbringing, education, rehabilitation of their own child, help others and increase their own competence level. It has been proven that male parents are interested in increasing their own participation, decision-making and spending more time with their own child with psychophysical development disorders and providing assistance to other families.

Y. believes that the well-chosen adaptation strategy becomes a communicative actionthat is, it becomes an effective intercultural interaction between representatives of Ukrainian society and foreign students 5 . An analysis of the socio-cultural adaptation of foreign students is impossible without resorting to the motivational components of behavioral acts, as well as to factors that affect the process. The methods of sociocultural adaptation of foreign students to study in our country were studied by N. Morgunova 6 .
