This research aims to design learning media based on multimedia using the Sparkol video scribe application. There are several things that affect students ' understanding of courses, including (1) students, (2) Lecturers/Teachers, (3) Teaching activities, (4) evaluation Atmosphere, and (5) evaluation methods. Learners as a leading role in the teaching and learning process have three different types of learning styles that differ from audio, visual and kinaesthetic. This is the thing to be considered in determining the learning media that can be used as a lecturer in communicating the lesson. Courses in the field of engineering especially electrical engineering demanded that lecturers can convey the material and practice in a balanced and clearly describe the tools and processes related to electrical engineering. The right learning Media can help lecturers to do so while creating a conducive and interactive classroom atmosphere. The method of study used is a development method consisting of literature study, Media design, Media planning, validation and testing. Based on the media trials of students in both one to one trials, small group trials and field trials were obtained by categories with very effective and declared valid. Based on the validity test of the two categories, it was concluded that the multimedia-based learning Media Sparkol video scribe had been developed worthy to be used.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) Untuk pengembangan Trainer dan Media Animasi Instalasi Pengontrolan Motor Listrik di Universitas Patria Artha dan (2) Untuk mengetahui tanggapan pengguna terhadap Trainer dan Media Animasi Instalasi Pengontrolan Motor Listrik dalam pembelajaran. Dalam merancang media pembelajaran mengembangkan trainer Instalasi Pengontrolan Motor Listrik, peneliti menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE dan Media Animasi Instalasi Pengontrolan Motor Listrik dikembangkan menggunakan aplikasi komputer Adobe Flash sehingga dapat menghasilkan animasi yang menarik. Teknik Pengumpulan Data menggunakan observasi dan angket. Teknik Analisis Data yakni persentase kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan. Hasil penelitian ini, yaitu; (1) proses pengembangan Trainer dan Media Animasi Instalasi Pengontrolan Motor Listrik, ini mengacu pada model ADDIE yaitu analyze, design, development, implementation dan evaluation; dan (2) produk yang dihasilkan berupa Trainer dan Media Animasi yang telah divalidasi oleh tim ahli media. Berdasarkan Uji coba trainer terhadap Responden baik dalam uji coba one to one, uji coba kelompok kecil dan uji coba lapangan diperoleh hasil dengan kategori sangat efektif dan dinyatakan valid. Berdasarkan uji validitas dari kedua katergori tersebut dismpulkan bahwa Trainer dan Media Animasi Pengontrolan Motor yang telah dikembangakan layak untuk digunakan.
