This article describes the effect of full day school program at fve grade of Nasima elementary school of Semarang to develop student religious character seen from its implementation. This research used quantitative approach in terms of correlation and the data were gathered trough questionnaire, interview and documentation. The research results shown that the implementation of full day school program at fve grade of Nasima elementary school was good at 76%, the religious character of ffth grade student is good in general up to 72% and full day school program influenced signifcantly on the nurturing student religious character at 51,8%. Therefore, full day school program in Nasima elementary school of Semarang has a great potential to encourage student religious character trough daily habituation program. Abstrak Artikel ini menguraikan pengaruh pelaksanaan full day school dalam membentuk karakter religius siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar (SD) Nasima, Semarang, dilihat dari pelaksanaan sistem full day school di SD Nasima, Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif jenis korelasional. Data pada penelitian ini diperoleh dengan cara penyebaran angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pelaksanaan full day school di SD Nasima dalam kategori baik yaitu sebesar 76%, karakter religius siswa kelas V SD Nasima secara umum juga dalam kategori baik yaitu sebesar 72%, dan full day school berpengaruh secara signifkan sebesar 51,8% terhadap pembentukan karakter religius siswa kelas V SD Nasima Semarang. Dengan demikian program full day school sebagaimana digambarkan di SD Nasima, Semarang, potensial sebagai program dan sistem yang dapat meningkatkan karakter religius siswa asalkan titik tekan programnya adalah pada pembiasaan nilai-nilai religius. The implementation of credit system is not something new in Indonesian education system, especially for higher education, but its implementation in senior high school is something new and challenging, because it focuses on the holistic learning service of each student. This research aims to describe the implementation of credit system in senior high school in Salatiga as a sample of the study and its problem faced by the management of the school. By conducting qualitative approach, it can be concluded that the implementation of credit system in public senior high school 1 Salatiga is working very well according to its compliance with the policy and manual from the Ministry of Education and Culture. But there are several obstacle come from the teachers and students who do not really comprehend yet the basic concept of the credit system policy, for instance most of the student want to graduate on the same time in which it is contradict with the orientation of the credit system to facilitate each student to learn and graduate according to their own learning pace. Abstrak Implementasi system kredit semester (SKS) di Indonesia bukan hal baru, terutama bagi perguruan tinggi, namun bagi sekolah—terutama sekolah menengah atas (SMA) adalah hal baru yang cukup menantang, karena memang fokus pada melayani secara holistik kebutuhan belajar tiap siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan implementasi dan problem yang dihadapi dalam penerapan kebijakan SKS tersebut di SMA Negeri 1 Salatiga sebagai salah satu contoh penerapan. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa secara umum pelaksanaan SKS di SMA N 1 Salatiga dapat berjalan dengan baik sesuai dengan kebijakan dan panduan dari Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan. Namun pada dasarnya terdapat beberapa kendala yang berasal dari guru dan siswa yang belum sepenuhnya konsep dasar dari kebijakan SKS tersebut. Misal, banyak siswa seangkatan ingin lulus Bersama-sama yang mana hal ini berlawanan dengan orientasi dari kebijakan SKS untuk memfasilitasi tiap siswa untuk dapat belajar dan lulus sesuai dengan kecepatan belajar masing-masing.
Penerapan kebijakan pemerintah dan kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan dalam rangka social and physiical distancing dan work from home dalam bidang pendidikan yaitu diselenggarakan secara online (daring) mendapat beragam respon dari guru, siswa maupun orang tua siswa karena menemui berbagai kendala. Kendala tersebut antara lain minimnya pengetahuan berbagai platform pembelajaran daring, minimnya ketrampilan mengoperasikan platform pembelajaran daring, minimnya penyusunan penilaian hasil belajar secara daring. Program pengabdidan kepada masyarakat ini ditujukan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam menyelenggarakan pembelajaran secara daring (online) dengan memanfaatkan berbagai aplikasi maupun platform pembelajaran gratis yang dapat diakses oleh guru dan siswa. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakatk ini menghasilkan (1) modul pembelajaran daring/online, (2) mengadakan pelatihan guru-guru dalam merencanakan, melaksanakan dan mengevaluasi pembelajaran secara daring, dan (3) mengevaluasi program pelatihan yang telah dilaksanakan oleh tim pengabdian. Luaran kegiatan pengabdian ini berupa publikasi artikel di jurnal ilmiah, modul berISBN.
Quality assurance is a series of processes and related systems to collect, analyze, and report data on the performance and quality of educators and education personnel, programs and institutions. The quality assurance process identifies aspects of achievement and priority for improvement, provides data as a basis for planning and decision making and helps build a culture of continuous improvement. The achievement of the quality of education for primary and secondary education in Indonesia is assessed based on the eight National Education Standards of the BSNP. The regional autonomy policy has an impact on the management of education in the region. Efforts to standardize quality must be the focus of attention in an effort to maintain the quality of education nationally. The quality assurance and improvement system of primary and secondary education in Indonesia operates within an education management and government system that delegates most of the responsibility for implementation to provinces, districts, foundations and schools/madrasahs. Achievement of education quality for primary and secondary education is assessed based on the eight National Education Standards from the BSNP. the system of guaranteeing and improving the quality of education in elementary school education in Gajahmungkur District, Semarang City is related to three main aspects, namely: (1) Studying the concept of Education Quality Assurance, (2) Development of an effective education quality information system for management, decision making in assurance and improving the quality of education, and (3) Continuous Education Quality Assurance System through School Self Evaluation (EDS) to step into the education quality assurance process.
