The article is aimed at researching the specifics and features of the concept of «creative industries» and defining the criteria that would identify activities as belonging to the creative sector precisely; studying the concept of «creative industries» and their relationship with «cultural industries»; disclosing the essence of various classifications of cultural and creative industries; generalization of theoretical approaches to the studies on this sector. As result of the research, the main approaches of scholars, practitioners and organizations on the definition of the concepts of «cultural industries» and «creative industries» and the peculiarities of the development of this sector of the economy are analyzed and disclosed. The genesis of these concepts in various literary sources is highlighted and the formation of the creative industry as an integral part in the transition from industrial society to intellectual is shown. The relationship and the proportion of cultural and creative industries are examined. The role of creative industries in innovative processes is considered, which allows to identify their impact on both economic and social development of society. Both the personal and the organizational models of classification of creative industries in historical retrospective of periods of creative industries development are provided. The peculiarities and characterizations of the models of classification of creative industries and the basic conditions for the inclusion of industries in the creative sector are determined. Based on the analysis and generalization, the main criteria are allocated that will allow identifying activities as belonging to the creative sector. Prospects for further research in this direction are the use of creative industry criteria to develop a universal system of classification of creative industries and a comprehensive idea of development of the creative sector in general.
The development and efficiency of the enterprise’s activity in modern conditions directly depend on the style and efficiency of management activities. In view of this, the purpose of the study is to generalize scientific opinions on the interpretation of the concept of «leadership style», to closer define the essence and content of this term; systematization of scientific views on the selection of management styles according to behavioral and situational approaches. As a result of the study, it was found out that the definition of «leadership style» is reduced to a set of techniques, methods, mechanisms of influence for solving management problems. A style generates a stable behavior of the manager according to his individual psychological characteristics. Using the method of classification and the system approach, scientific views on the selection of management styles in accordance with behavioral and situational approaches are systematized. It is emphasized that with a behavioral approach, effective management depends not so much on the individual characteristics of the manager as on the compliance of his behavior with a certain situation, the level of his qualifications and the actions taken. Proponents of the situational approach point out that different situations and circumstances require different leaders with qualitatively different traits, resulting in team members who have the most necessary qualities for certain circumstances and will show themselves as leaders. The article proposes to single out separately such a leadership style as «chaos management». The main factors influencing the choice of leadership style are identified: personal and emotional composition; educational and cultural levels; the level of maturity of the team and its cohesion; circumstances that have developed; experience and cultural level of the manager, etc. Prospects for further research can be aimed at analyzing the features of chaos management and developing practical recommendations for changing this management model to more efficient ones
The relevance of the research problem is determined by the need to identify perspectives of the functioning of Ukrainian organizations in the conditions of global changes in the world economy and the activation of European integration processes. The purpose of the article was to analyze the trends in the development of the national economy based on the study of the structure of the main indicators, the determination of the degree of their interaction and the assessment of mutual influence on the functioning of Ukrainian organizations. To achieve the goal, the following methods were used: morphological analysis; scientific induction and deduction; dialectical method; system analysis; grouping and comparative analysis; analysis and synthesis, structural-functional approach; content analysis; methods of logical analysis and generalization, descriptive statistics, formalization; graphical and tabular method. The main results of the study are as follows: the need to analyze the causes of the country’s economic development, in particular, the dynamics of the nominal and real GDP, its structure and the number and qualification characteristics of the population, which is a stimulating factor of economic development, is substantiated; the expediency of analyzing employment and unemployment indicators, the number of vacancies, the level of entrepreneurial initiative development to assess the economy’s ability to provide workers with jobs has been proven; the need to analyze the economic growth of the country in connection with the analysis of the standard of living of the population is indicated, because what reflects positive material changes is an indicator of the development of society; reduction of the population in Ukraine, due to the outflow of its most active part abroad, which negatively affects the quality of the labor and is an obstacle to the growth of production rates; the causes of the outlined trends were identified, such as: the 2014 crisis associated with military operations in the East of Ukraine, political instability, rapid inflation, devaluation of the national currency, and the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, which affected the activities of economic entities and individuals due to the growth of unemployment and social restrictions. The practical significance of the obtained results lies in the formation of recommendations for taking into account the development trends of the national economy in the process of identifying prospects and possible problems of the functioning of Ukrainian organizations in the conditions of the country’s integration into the European community. Formulated conclusions and recommendations will be useful for managers and business owners seeking to build a competent organization on the way to joining the European economic space
The peculiarities and contribution of the information technology industry (IT industry) to the development of the Ukrainian economy are studied. The classification of different types of innovations by basic features and by scope is considered. The degree of automation and regulation of labor operations in the development of IT-projects is described. The types of innovative labor in the IT industry are identified, depending on the degree of its regulation and the types of innovations to which it is aimed. The types of innovative labor in the IT industry depending on the types of innovations and the degree of regulation of labor elements are developed and graphically presented. The influence of regulation of innovative labor on the efficiency of its rationing is substantiated. The proposed classification of types of innovative labor with professional groups in accordance with the quadrants of the matrix of positioning of IT professionals in the specialty is compared and their relationship is presented. The labor of programmers and features of its rationing are considered. Placement of the labor of software product developers on the matrix in accordance with the classification of innovative labor and the matrix of positioning of IT professionals are graphically presented.
Purpose. The aim of the article is the research of modern trends in labour rationing in the IT industry; determination of the functions of standardization of innovative labour of IT specialists at three levels of management ‒ macro-, meso- (the level of the IT industry) and micro- (the level of the enterprise of the IT industry); substantiation of the principles of standardization of innovative work in the IT industry. Methodology of research. The method of logical generalization and office research was used to substantiate the functions, features, principles of standardization of innovative work in the IT industry, and the graphic method was used to visualize the presented results. Results. Current trends are considered and the main problems associated with the IT industry are explored to achieve this goal. Based on the generalization of theoretical provisions on the rationing of innovative work of IT professionals at the macro, meso, micro-economic levels, the main functions of rationing of innovative work at these levels are determined. The principles of rationing of innovative work in the IT industry are substantiated on the basis of their combination into three groups: features of rationing of innovative work, features of work of IT specialists and principles of labour rationing with separation of general and specific. Originality. The list of general and specific principles of rationing of innovative work in the IT industry is substantiated, which, unlike the existing ones, takes into account the peculiarities of rationing of innovative work of IT specialists, which allows to determine the role of innovative work in the development of an innovative model of employment and changing the structure of this model in the labour market. Practical value. Rationalization of labour processes based on innovative work can be ensured in the case of using an effective management tool, which is rationing. Generalized theoretical provisions on the functions of standardization of innovative work at different levels, sound principles of standardization of innovative work in the IT industry will help increase the validity of norms and standards of time for IT workers and enhance innovative work of employees in the IT industry.
