In the article, the content of the concept of anthroponymic text is outlined, whereas the component and functional specifics of this textual variety and the classification types of written lists with the regular inclusion of proper personal names are indicated. A complex analysis of the anthroponymic and appellative text parts of the presentative authentic documentary list of the XIX century (Алфа¬витный список землевладѣльцамъ in the edition Опытъ описанія Могилевской губерніи, 1884) is conducted. The facts that make it possible to trace the peculiarities of Belarusian-Polish interlingual cooperation in the field of anthroponymy are revealed. Based on the analytical data, conclusions regarding the information content of the nominative and predicative parts of the anthroponymic text are formulated, the ways of using such linguistic and historical information are determined.
In the article the Polish influence on Belarusian Onomastic system in the period of the XIX century and the beginning of the XXIth century are investigated. From the XIX and the beginning of XXth centuries two onomastic options are considered separately: the official Belarusian onomasticon presented in Russian documentary records and the unofficial onomasticon, which consisted of newspaper fixations of Belarusian toponyms and anthroponyms in Belarusian-language press of that time. The level of polonization of official and unofficial toponymy and antroponymy and degree of preservation of their Belarusian national identity are analyzed. In respect of the period of beginning of the XXIth century the manifestation of Polish-rice in toponymic and anthroponymic vocabulary group are traced. In toponymy the Polonized traditional forms and the erroneous writing are revealed, in anthroponymy – facial names that stand as monuments to the Belarusian-Polish cultural and historical ties.
In this essay, the factors in the formation of the education system in the Belarusian lands of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries are considered alongside the social-historical and linguistic aspects of its functioning. Special attention is given to the characteristics of the possibilities of national education, the development of which is one of the most important conditions for national and ethnic consolidation. The dependence of the features of Belarusian national education on the following historical facts and components of the social structure is analyzed: a) the level of national consciousness of elite groups in the territory of modern Belarus, which did not have a manifested national orientation in the period under review; b) the principles of the language policy of the Russian authorities, which were unfavorable to the formation of linguistic identities of peoples on the western outskirts of the Empire; c) the real language situation in the Belarusian territories, namely, the wide spread of the Belarusian language (in its dialect version) among the peasant and middle classes, and a fairly high level of proficiency in the Belarusian language of representatives among the gentry; d) the specifics of Belarusian publishing, which could not become a stimulus for national education because of insufficient development; e) the specifics in a cultural and religious state in which national identity was not a priority. Finally, it is concluded that in the Belarusian region of the period of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries education in general was at an unsatisfactory stage and national education was at best rudimentary.
