Two large-scale aerosol behavior t e s t s , using sodium pool f i r e s as the aerosol source, were performed i n the Containment Systems Test Facility (CSTF). t i e s and behavior of sodium aeroso2 particZes formed and aged i n a large containment vessel. The 20-m high, 850-m3 CSTF containment vessel i s approximately half the s i z e of a commercial reactor containment building i n regard t o parameters that a f f e c t agglomeration and gravitational sett2ing.
