ChemInform Abstract The reactions of the title complex with L-L' = Ph2E(CH2)2PPh2 (E: P, As) and Ph2PCH2PPh2 in CH2Cl2 producing via intermediates the 1:1 bis(chelate) complexes ((η2-L-L')Pt(η2-S2CNEt2))+ and, in the case of Ph2As(CH2)2PPh2 and Ph2PCH2PPh2, the 1:2 complexes ((η1-L-L')2Pt(η2-S2CNEt2))+ are studied by multinuclear (31P, 195Pt) magnetic resonance technique. The reactions with Ph2PCH2P(X)Ph2 (X: S, Se) leading to the bis(chelate) complexes ((η2-L-L')Pt(η2-S2CNEt2))+ as the final products are also studied; 1:2 complexes are not formed. Ph2As(CH2)2P(X)Ph2 do not react with the starting title complex.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
