Die unteren Grenzamplituden der Spannungsintensitat AK, ffir Uwachstum waren in Meenvasser ohne Polarisation und in gasformigem Wasserstoff gegenuber Luft erniedrigt. Der Risfortschritt je Lastwechsel war in der Regel bei der niedrigsten Frequenz am stiirksten erhoht. In Meerwasser ergaben sich bei niedrigen Amplituden AK, die relativ starksten Anderungen. Mit kathodischer Polarisation gdt dies fiir einen schmalen mittleren Bereich, mit gasformigem Wasserstoff fiir hehere AK,.Corrosion fatigue of two medium strength steels was studied using CT-specimens at 10, 1 and 0.2 Hz. The threshold values of the amplitude of stress intensity factor, AK,, were lowered in synthetic seawater and in hydrogen gas. The advance of the cracks per cycle in general was maximum at the lowest frequency.
