The Linear Accelerator (L1nac) in the Advanced Licht Source (ALS) is designed to provide either sing'.e or multiple bunches of 50 HeV electrons for the Dooster synchrotron. Three bunchers are used in the Linac. The 3 GHz S band buncher has been described elsewhere'!). This report deals with the two lower subharmonlc bunchers. One operates at 124.914 MHz while the other operates at 499.654 MHz.
