In this work we study the anomalous top quark-gluon couplings Chromoelectric Dipole Moment (CEDM) and Chromomagnetic Dipole Moment (CMDM) in a general THDM with CP violation. We find that this model provides an important contribution from the Ytt Yukawa coupling that needs to be taken into account. The prediction for CMDM and CEDM obtained are −0.03 < ∆kt < −0.005 and |∆dt| < 0.005, respectively.
Models beyond the Standard Model with extra scalars have been highly motivated by the recent discovery of a Higgs boson. The Two Higgs Doublet Model Type III considers the most general case for the scalar potential, allowing mixing between neutral CP-even and CP-odd scalar fields. This work presents the results of the study on the t → cγ decay at one loop level if neutral flavor changing is generated by top-charm-Higgs coupling given by the Yukawa matrix. For instance, a value for the branching ratio Br(t → cγ) ∼ 10 −6 for tan β = 2.5 and general neutral Higgs mixing parameters, 1.16 ≤ α1 ≤ 1.5, −0.48 ≤ α2 ≤ −0.1. The number of events for the t → cγ decay with an integrated luminosity of 300 f b −1 is estimated as 10 N Ef f 100 for the parameters of the model constrained by experimental data.
We discuss the most general formulation of the Two-Higgs doublet model, which incorporates flavor changing neutral scalar interactions (FCNSI) and CP violation (CPV) from several sources. CP violation can arise either from Yukawa terms or from the Higgs potential, be it explicit or spontaneous. We show how the model, which is denoted as 2HDM-X, reduces to some versions known in the literature (2HDM-I,II,III), as well as some of their variants (top, lepton, dark) denoted here as 2HDM-IV. We also discuss another limit that includes CPV and Yukawa four textures to control FCNSI, which we denote as 2HDM-V. We evaluate the CPV asymmetry for the decay h → bcW , which may allow to test the patterns of FCNSI and CPV, that arises in these models.
We compute the contributions to rare top decays t → cZ and t → ch 1 from the scalar sector in the two Higgs doublet model type III with CP violation, where h 1 is the Standard Model Higgs boson. The branching ratios for BRðt → cZÞ and BRðt → ch 1 Þ are obtained as a function of the model parameters. In particular, the BRðt → cZÞ can increase its value up to 10 −3 for tan β ¼ 1 and masses for the additional Higgs bosons of m h 2 ;h 3 ;H AE ∼ 0.5 TeV. Meanwhile BRðt → ch 1 Þ can reach values of the order of ∼10 −2 . We constrain the model parameters (mixing angles of the neutral scalar fields in the CP violation context and tan β) using the reported values of the signal strengths R XX and b → sγ process.
