This study aims to determine the effect of health education using video and poster media on the knowledge and attitudes of fourth grade SDN 65 Seluma children in preventing diarrhea. This type of research is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental approach using a two group pre and post test design. The results showed that the average score of children's knowledge in the video media group before the intervention was 68.00, after the intervention was 86.67, the child's attitude before the intervention was 52.67 after being given the intervention 80.93 with ρ-value 0.000. The average score of knowledge in the media poster group before the intervention was 72.67 after the intervention was 87.33, the attitude of the child before the intervention was 42.20 after the intervention was 65.40 with a ρ-value of 0.000. In conclusion, there is a significant effect of health education using video media and posters on children's knowledge and attitudes in preventing diarrhea disease. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of sleep quality with changes in blood pressure in elderly hypertension at Tresna Werdha Social Home (PSTW) Bengkulu Province. This type of research is quantitative research in the form of an analytic survey with a cross-sectional research design. Univariate analysis results showed blood pressure in hypertensive elderly at Tresna Werdha Social Home (PSTW), which is 12 respondents (54.5%) had mild hypertension, ten respondents (45.5%) had moderate hypertension. Sleep quality experienced by elderly hypertension, 11 respondents (50%) experienced good sleep quality, and 11 other respondents (50%) experienced poor sleep quality. The results of bivariate analysis using chi-square test obtained ρ value = 0,000 and C value = 0.674. In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between sleep quality and changes in blood pressure in hypertensive elderly at Tresna Werdha Social Home (PSTW) in 2019. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of ergonomic exercise on the Improvement of Functional Ability in the elderly in the Posyandu Elderly Work Area of the Sukamerindu Public Health Center in Bengkulu City, which decreased Functional Ability. The design of this study used a quasi-experimental design with pre-test and post-test without comparison (control) groups. Paired T-test results showed an increase in the value of functional ability with P Value = 0,000 <0.05. Conclusion, there is an influence of ergonomic exercise activity therapy on increasing functional ability in the elderly. Keywords: Functional Ability, Elderly, Ergonomic Gymnastics
This study aims to determine the effect of blowing superbubbles and blowing bamboo propellers on children's respiratory frequency with pneumonia. The study design was pre-test and post-test two groups. The results of the univariate analysis before the blow therapy were carried out. Super bubbles, the respiratory frequency of all respondents was included in the moderate category, namely 10 (100%) respondents. After the intervention, there was a change to the mild type, namely as many as 3 (30%) respondents. Whereas before the therapy of blowing bamboo propellers, the respiratory frequency of the majority of respondents was included in the medium category, namely as many as 8 (80%) of respondents, and after therapy, the respiration frequency was balanced between the moderate and light types, namely as many as 50% of respondents respectively. The bivariate analysis results showed the effect of blowing superbubbles and blowing bamboo propellers on the respiratory frequency of the children with a p-value of 0.000, and 0.006, respectively. In conclusion, the intervention of blowing superbubbles and blowing propeller affects the respiratory frequency of children with pneumonia. The purpose of this study was to see how the management of pulmonary tuberculosis treatment. This research uses a qualitative approach. The results showed that 1 in 3 tuberculosis patients did not comply with tuberculosis treatment in the working area of the Sukamerindu Public Health Center, Bengkulu City. Factors that support treatment non-compliance are the lack of knowledge of tuberculosis treatment guidelines. In conclusion, patients who do not comply are caused because they feel he is already healed and are lazy to take more medicine at the Sukamerindu Health Center, PMO already understands his duties as a PMO.
