Twenty species and one variety of the genus Bactrospora Massal. are revised. The following new species are described: B. arthonioides sp. nov., B. brodoi sp. nov., B. carneopallida sp. nov., B. incana sp. nov., B. intermedia sp. nov., and B. spiralis sp. nov. Six species of Lecanactis and one of Bacidia are transferred to Bactrospora. A key is given.

Among those, there are the following nine classes: Aspicilietea candidae, Caulerpetea racemosae, Desmococcetea olivacei, Entophysalidetea deustae, Gloeocapsetea sanguineae, Mesotaenietea berggrenii, Naviculetea gregariae, Porpidietea zeoroidis, Roccelletea phycopsis. Eleven orders and ten alliances as well as three associations are described or validated: the Aspicilietalia verruculosae (incl. Aspicilion mashiginensis and Teloschistion contortuplicati), the Caulerpetalia racemosae (incl. Caulerpion racemosae), the Desmococcetalia olivacei (incl. Desmococcion olivacei), the Dirinetalia massiliensis, the Fucetalia vesiculosi (incl. Ascophyllion nodosi), the Gloeocapsetalia sanguineae, the Lecideetalia confluescentis (incl. Se hace un análisis fitogeográfico de la flora liquénica de zonas subáridas del sureste de España, la más seca de Europa. Se han distinguido los patrones de distribución siguientes: Xerotérmico-Pangeico, Circumtético, Mesogeo, Mediterráneo, Oeste Mediterráneo-Macaronésico, Iberoafricano, Mediterráneo-Sudafricano. 6 taxones son, según los datos que disponemos en la actualidad, endémicos del área considerada. Se comenta la posible diferenciación geográfica e histórica de cada elemento y se presentan mapas de distribución con algunas de las especies más representativas de cada grupo.
