Isolation, Structure Elucidation, and Synthesis of Irlbacholine, 1,22-Bis(((2-(trimethylammonium)ethoxy)phosphinyl)oxy)docosane: A Novel Antifungal Plant Metabolite from Irlbachia alata and Anthocleista djalonensis.-The isolation of irlbacholine (IX) from two plants and two syntheses of this compound are described.
