In this paper we summarize the current state of the development of SYS/3 (SYStematic SYStem Development SYStem), the main features of the system and further research. SYS/3 assists in developing software systems according to a pre-stated standard and assures proper quality of software during its entire tile-cycle. A software is considered a set of system comqguration items calted documents. SYS/3 facilitates writing and checking appropriate documents. Special built-in and external functions generate test cases and Pascal source frames. The major parts of SYS,r3 are generated with the SYSGEN system generator system. It makes SYS/3 fairly flexible and easily modifiable. The input specification yields a high level description of the system.
PROF-LP is a programgenerator system for IBM XT/AT compatible computers. On the basis of an attribute grammar description the system generates a Pascal program which can be considered as the processor of the given specification. PROF-LP can be used for generating one-pass and multi-pass language processors. The generated one-pass processors use LL(1) method for syntactic analysis and L-attribute evaluation strategy. The multi-pass processors use LALR(1) type syntactic parser and OAG attribute evaluation strategy. The attribute grammar definition can be created in an incremental way as well. In this paper an incremental method for generating LL(1) parsing table is presented. The main advantage of the incremental system is the very fast generation of language processors.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
