A double-pole explanation of the A2(1300) meson is shown to be consistent with recent bubble-chamber measurements of its missing-mass spectrum and of its Xi^iCi^-decaymode mass spectrum.
By correlating recent experimental results on srO and n+ photoproduction a t backward angles with results on n-p 4 9 p-at the same angles, it is found that any explanation of the three processes in terms of Regge poles must involve at least two isospin-3 trajectories. Furthermore, the two trajectories must be almost degenerate. Such a solution makes definite predictions about other processes which can be checked by experiments.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
