It was investigated the changes of acoustooptical quality coefficients in oI)'goethermethacrylate photopolymers of the different chemical contents from temperature. It was revealed that increasing of the aromatic's rings leads to increasing of the acoustooptical quality coefficients M and only after we have observed the influence of the distances between the C0 chemical bonds. It was found also an increasing of M ith the decrease of the temperature below the 80... 100 K. The maximal value ofthe M reaches its value at 4.2 K. The data obtained are in good agreement with previously investigations of the optical second harmonic generation. An essential influence of external electric field on the acoustooptical properties of the mentioned photopolymers was revealed. In our opinion it reflects an essential role of the acentncal quasicrystallines. which give contributions into the piezooptical constants.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
