ECHOING RURAL TOURISM THROUGH CULINARY YELLOW CHIPS PUMPKIN (YECHIPUM) TYPICAL OF PADUSAN VILLAGE, MOJOKERTOPumpkin can be used as a basic ingredient for making typical village culinary in the form of cookies. However, pumpkin has not been used optimally by rural communities as a traditional regional culinary product, in this case, Padusan Village, Mojokerto Regency. This paper aims to: (1) provide education on the potential utilization of pumpkin as the main raw material for Padusan special culinary; (2) developing an innovative micro business at Padusan Village; (3) provide information on how unique and attractive branding is. By using the training method, this paper tries to help and assist the residents of Padusan Village to take advantage of the opportunity to create a culinary industry made from pumpkin. In this study, pumpkin is processed into dry cookies called Yechipum, an acronym for Yellow Chips Pumpkin. After conducting training and practice with culinary practitioners, it can be concluded that Yechipum can be a typical souvenir of Padusan Village as a culinary support for rural tourism. In addition, the branding that has been made also has a novelty that can produce HKI for Padusan Village and also State University of Malang.Labu kuning dapat digunakan sebagai bahan dasar pembuatan kuliner khas desa dalam bentuk cookies. Meski demikian, labu kuning belum dimanfaatkan secara maksimal oleh masyarakat pedesaan sebagai produk kuliner tradisional khas daerah, dalam hal ini yaitu Desa Padusan Kabupaten Mojokerto. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk: (1) memberikan edukasi pemanfaatan potensi labu kuning sebagai bahan baku utama kuliner khas Padusan; (2) mengembangkan bibit-bibit UMKM baru di Desa Padusan yang inovatif; (3) memberikan informasi bagaimana branding yang unik dan menarik. Dengan menggunakan metode pelatihan, tulisan ini berusaha membantu dan mendampingi warga Desa Padusan memanfaatkan peluang untuk membuat industri kuliner berbahan dasar labu kuning. Dalam kajian ini, labu kuning diproses menjadi cookies kering yang diberi nama Yechipum, akronim dari Yellow Chips Pumpkin. Setelah melakukan pelatihan dan praktik bersama praktisi kuliner, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Yechipum bisa menjadi oleh-oleh khas Desa Padusan sebagai kuliner penunjang wisata pedesaan. Selain itu, branding yang telah dibuat juga mempunyai novelty yang dapat menghasilkan HKI untuk Desa Padusan dan Universitas Negeri Malang.
In this article, we discuss the development of Indis culture in Malang Raya which influences the culture of society, especially in the field of architecture. The writing of this article was motivated by the existence of buildings that were influenced by Indis culture in Malang Raya in 1900-1942. The purposes of this article are 1) To know the history of Indis culture and its development; 2) To know Malang Raya as the new city of the Dutch East Indies; 3) To determine the cross between Indies and Javanese cultures in Malang Raya.Dalam artikel ini memuat tentang perkembangan budaya Indis di Malang Raya yang berpengaruh pada kebudayaan masyarakat, khususnya pada bidang arsitektur. Penulisan artikel ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya bangunan-bangunan yang mendapat pengaruh dari budaya Indis di Malang Raya pada tahun 1900-1942. Adapun tujuan dari penulisan artikel ini yaitu 1) Untuk mengetahui sejarah budaya Indis dan perkembangannya; 2) Untuk mengetahui Malang Raya sebagai perkotaan baru Hindia Belanda; 3) Untuk mengetahui persilangan budaya Indis dan Jawa di Malang Raya.
