Like a doughnut with a raspberry filling: ABC triblock copolymers, composed of a hydrophilic block with morpholinium units (blue in the picture), a hydrophobic hydrocarbon block (red), and a hydrophobic fluorocarbon‐rich block (black), self‐assemble in water to form multicompartment micelles with a hydrophilic corona and a hydrophobic core with nanometer‐scale subdomains.
Branched water-soluble copolymers were obtained by direct radical crosslinking copolymerisation of acrylic acid or acrylamide and N,N'-methylenebisacrylamide at high solid content in the presence of an O-ethylxanthate as a reversible chain transfer agent.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
